Tio de Santa Barbara — Restaurant in Seoul

Might be the worst tacos i have had in korea so far. 🗑🚮. First off when ordering a quesadilla they dont give you salsa they give you a cup of honey cream which to us tasted like pure frosting that you would put on a cake. The tacos were the worst part though we got the set of 3 tacos and everyone of them came out cold and no i dont mean room temp i mean cold like they just pulled the ingredients out of a refrigerator and threw it together. Here is the kicker though they put a mountain of onions and tomatoes on the bottom and then put the meat on top so it looks like there is lots of meat but when you take a bite its pure freezing raw onion flavor. Oh and if you do want some salsa you have to pay extra for it and to be honest even the salsa is not good. The verde salsa was 50% onion as well. Look i dont expect it to be authentic but this is taking it too far. I have had many decent tacos in korea even when they adjust for local taste and this is just too much. Not even my korean...

Amongst so many empty tables, the restaurant gave us the worst table (right in front of the toilet). Had to see the staff going in and out of the filthy toilet while dining. The male kitchen member just slammed the door, which left it half open. I had to get up to close it myself after him (what a way to disrespect trusting and dining guests).

When we were leaving, we found that the other side of the hall was completely empty, where they could have let us dine instead.

The female staff who served us the food was careless, didn't want to communicate with us and just dripped the drinks and foods on the table wherever she found a spot regardless of who ordered which.

The food is okay but there are ton other decent qaulity Mexican restaurants in the vicinity. To be treated like that paying money? Not worth it. Would...

The food is absolutely amazing. The sauce, the guac, the drinks, everything was amazing! We had the beef birria, and the tacos. For drinks the corona Rita and regular Margherita. We ate in and the AC blasting which is great because it was 88 degrees outside. Just happy and appreciative. I love Korean food but after 20 days on my 30 day trip it was nice to mix it up and it was worth it. (also I eat a lot of Mexican food in America. This place is just as good.
