Amani — Restaurant in Adeje

Disappointing experience. Seeing so many good reviews on Google Maps, we expected something good. We ordered chinese and thai dishes. I would give the thai food ZERO stars (I believe their cook has absolutely no idea about thai food) and for chinese food 1 star (both dishes were so exaggeratedly sweet). The sangria was made with fruit compote instead of fresh fruit, which made the beverage also exaggeratedly sweet. After last nights experience I think we won’t need a desert for at least a week anymore. Atmosphere was ok, waiters nice and polite, but difficult communication due to poor English.

Wine list also poor and cheap.

This place is so nice and relaxed. The food (pad thai with tofu and vegetable balls in red curry) were both so tasty.

The staff were helpful in veganising dishes that weren't vegan by default but there were plenty more options than we could have time (or the belly room) to sample.

It's easy to see why this place gets so busy at peak times, as there's cover but also open sides, so there's always fresh air. The atmosphere is nice and everyone - of all dietary requirements - seems to enjoy the food and drink on offer.

Drinks are reasonably priced and while this may not be the cheapest (or most expensive) place around, it's worth what you do pay and there's a nice walk available down to the rest of the...

Amazing, homemade and fresh food. As a starter we took springrolls with duck, which were extraordinary and tasted magnificent. After that, as a main dish, we ordered the mixed sushi platter called Amani Morimase with 8 different types of sushi and wasabi and ginger on the sides. Everything had a stunning presentation and looked beautifully. My little brother, who was not familiar with chopsticks, got offered a kind of easy to use set, which helped him a lot. All in all, this restaurant is very good and we can definetly recommed it! 10 out of 10 would eat there again!!!
