Moonlight Fun Pub — Restaurant in Adeje

We walked into Moonlight Fun Pub with high hopes and thirsts set on a proper pint of Guinness on tap. The name promised fun, the vibe seemed decent… but alas, disappointment came swiftly. To my horror, Arsenal was still on the TV, dragging out a match that felt like it had no end. And worse – no Guinness on tap. None. Zero. Zilch. The missus was not amused. Her mood soured faster than warm beer, and suddenly I was in deep trouble. In a moment of desperation (and mild panic), I ordered a Stella. Let’s just say it didn’t live up to the name – more Stella Arto-no. Meanwhile, the bathroom earned a solid “absolutely disgusting” from the lady, which didn’t help my case. The only silver lining? Arsenal where about to lose. Small mercies. We left thirsty, mildly annoyed, and with a story to tell. Would I go back? Only if Guinness magically appears and Arsenal disappears. What a dump !! I arrived with a group of young friends to a very unwelcome greeting. I asked for a whisky to be be told by the elderly barmaid that it was late and they were only selling bottled beer. I then noticed others were then ordering after me and buying spirits. My daughter then went to the bar and bought my whisky for me !! This place is a joke.. I genuinely feel uncomfortable posting negative reviews about places as I always tend to have a positive attitude, but I thought it only fair to advise people in advance about this place. There are so many other better places to choose from in this area so think carefully before going here. The barmaid in question should either go for training in bar work etiquette or retire.. Had an unfortunate experience with a very rude and arrogant older bartender. I had asked for a pint and a glass of sangria to which he began to shake his head and tap his forehead with his index finger. When he returned with the beer I asked him, was there a problem, to which he replied “a sangria at this time”. It was 10:30pm, you’re a barman. I’ve never heard of a cut off time for certain drinks. His attitude was beyond disgusting and extremely unprofessional. A really poor way to treat a paying customer.
