Not a good experience at all. Like most, we went off Google reviews. I am so shocked at how bad it was despite the high ratings.
Where do I start..... Cockroach on the high chair. I know this might not be able to be helped. But what could be helped is the fact that both high chairs were dirty.
We ordered breakfast (very overpriced for what was offered). €9 and only one sausage, despite this being the larger breakfast available. I asked for an additional sausage for my son, this was charged on my receipt as "eggs" at €5! €5 for one sausage! Literally insane!
One of our party ordered an avocado bagel. Not sure how they are done around here, but I expected it smashed and seasoned. It came with some strange, sour sauce and about 4 hard cubes of unripened avocado. Absolutely shocking!
They brought the wrong food to our table (despite the place being moderately quiet). Which meant I eaten first and alone. They then proceeded to bring the extra sausage on someone elses plate and tell them it was mine. I'm not sure what they expected us to do with the sausage and why they could not bring it to me. Bizarre service.
Toast was cold with rock solid butter in a packet. Stop refrigerating your butter! Or bring it out earlier. Serving it solid and cold for toast is dumbfounded.
Beans were cold.
The coffee was not bad at all to be fair, but very small cup.
Pancakes seemed ok for the kids but pretty dry.
I would avoid this place at all costs....
Read moreWhen in Tenerife around Costa Adeje or Playa de las Americas then this is the number one spot! I found it last August (2024) and came back in Feb 2025 and went there every day for 8am for decaf mocha and a pastry. They have amazing pastries though to be fair I only had pain au chocolat and the pecan (amazing!) The breakfast menu starts at 9 so I didn’t get to have the yogurt and granola with fruit that I had last time, it would be nice if that could be served from 8am along with the salmon and avocado bagel which they make with an awesome ‘sauce’. It’s bright, white and very ‘French’, mainly outside seating , slightly enclosed… in just the right location on the way to the beach, watching people pass by. It get’s a lovely busy buzz. The staff are so lovely, lovely friendly men and women. I’m afraid I did not get there names. It’s frequented by regulars as well as holiday makers like me. It’s not too expensive at all, pastries are €1.80, coffees around €3-3.50… Compare that to rubbish like Starbucks and Costa! Lunch is from 12 I think but I didn’t get back for anything else as I stay on the beach and save myself for dinner. It closes relatively early, as bakers do (did I mention they bake on site!). I think by 4pm.
A highlight of my trips to Tenerife. Looking forward to going back in May. Love reading my books there, getting an early start, watching the locals, and blending in (well maybe I don’t). Go...
Read moreOur experience was extremely disappointing. Like many others, we relied on Google reviews, and I’m amazed at how poor it was despite the high ratings.
To begin with, we found a cockroach on one of the high chairs. While pests can be hard to control, both high chairs were also dirty, which is unacceptable.
We ordered breakfast, which was vastly overpriced for what we received. The €9 breakfast included only one sausage, supposedly the larger option. When I requested an extra sausage for my son, we were charged €5 for it, labeled as "eggs" on the receipt. Paying €5 for a single sausage is outrageous!
One of our group ordered an avocado bagel. Unlike what we expected, it came with a strange, sour sauce and four hard, unripe avocado cubes. It was appalling!
The wrong food was brought to our table, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. This led to me eating first and alone. They then delivered the extra sausage on someone else’s plate and told us it was mine, which made no sense. The service was bizarre.
The toast was cold with rock-hard butter still in packets. They should stop refrigerating the butter or bring it out earlier because serving it solid and cold with toast is ridiculous.
The beans were cold as well.
While the coffee wasn’t bad, it came in a very small cup.
The pancakes for the kids were okay but quite dry.
I strongly advise against visiting this place. It was...
