Drinks were fairly cheap. One of the women was really lovely and friendly. However I personally got dragged in by my partner who’s a rangers fan, for one simple drink. Everything was fine I then went on to attend the bathroom and a comment was made about my outfit by a man behind the bar. I was wearing a white and green two piece being totally unaware (because I am not a football fan myself) he said “oi don’t ever wear green in here again.” So me being totally unaware of what he was going on about I laughed and he went “no I mean it do not wear any green in here” so I obviously was puzzled then went to ask my boyfriend what he meant by this. after explaining the situation I then felt very uncomfortable even staying in the bar because I quite frankly found it so rude to comment on a girls outfit like that making me feel rather unwelcome. I just don’t think it was appropriate at all, shame really because we planned in the bar to go back on Saturday so my partner could watch the rangers game but after that I do not feel welcome at all and probably won’t be returning in future. I get a joke but he definitely was not joking, said it in quite a...
Read moreWhen booking a holiday I always make sure a rangers pub is close, which I always enjoy during live games. Sadly out of them all I have visited this got to be the worst, small and compacted with no air con to make customers order more drinks. Toilet are a joke which both have to que to get up the stairs and back down when finished. The staff that were present all sounded English which none reacted when rangers scored, clearly none are fans and are just milking the theme.
Felt unsafe as far too many people in, couldn’t move and so did a lot of others when they left after full time whisper went.
Refused to take card which they were sending people to the ATM across the road, which charges.
Only show games on the free being sports rather than spending money buying rangers tv or TNT sports, never seen it busy...

The bar opened at 11am and we waited outside from 10:15am to secure a decent seat.
the atmosphere was amazing, me and my partner visited this bar on the 26th of February 2023 (it was also her 30th Birthday) to watch Rangers vs Celtic (Old Firm.) We had 10 drinks between us at well over €40 and also purchased 3 T-Shirts as souvenirs at €45.
We were asked to leave at 60 minutes into the game as we: “didnt want to purchase anymore drinks…”
I was really disappointed in this place as a loyal bluenose… and to add insult to injury we losing the game 2-1 when the barmaid asked us to leave.
Shocking behaviour, I certainly wont be back and wouldn't recommend any other bears to visit this place. Look elsewhere like the Bluebell bar in...
