Cozy Cafe — Restaurant in Adeje

Fowl grotty greasy spoon with poor customer service and a negative attitude towards its customers. SERVICE IS SUPER SLOW and staff keep disappearing and cannot cope. Far better options available locally ie the castle and well everywhere really. The food is below average greasy spoon food at above average prices do yourself a BIG FAVOUR AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I note the owner has repied to my review saying im a local business i add this to l confirm this is report is correct and was written by a HOLIDAY MAKER not some local business jealous of a greasy spoon ... nice try at covering the truth though but people have already thanked me and are now avoiding your establishment in future and its *poor food *poor service and *appauling customer attitude *appauling customer service However it is to be expected that somewhere with such a poor attitude to customers should try and cover up with false accusations and not actually try and address the issues. Terrible booked in September for the roast turkey Xmas Dinner via Rita a lot of conversations regarding booking wanted child dinner size for two children just gave us 5 cold adults size dinners very dissatisfied and disappointed we couldn't eat it just picked at bits the grandchildren are usually the first to gobble down a roast i believe these were microwaved my husbands potatoes were frozen together and having been reccomended we thought it had to be worth a visit and we had to get a taxi as we were 40 min walk away but the response was not handled well offered to pay for the drinks that were included with the price of the meal then still charged us only difference was they changed the price of the children's dinners and offered a drink we didn't want to stay any longer and gave kids a can of drink each. We never complain but I had to say something we will never be returning to the cozy cafe again I don't know if Rita was there today but I hope she sees the disappointment...

With all the good reviews we decided to try the cosy cafe I was not impressed . Trying to find a clean empty table was a challenge. When we did I ordered a cappuccino ,it was nice until I moved my empty cup and saucer and underneath was a dead fly,(there was no dead fly before my drink came so I dread to think where it came from)this put me off my meal before it had arrived. When my breakfast came it looked OK apart from the toast which was so lightly toasted I thought it was just bread. My hash brown was full of grease,as though it had been deep fried,the bacon was greasy and fatty, mushrooms seemed like they had been fried 2/3 times ,eggs were good aswell as the sausage,nice beens and plum tomato,. Would I go here again ? No. The waitress didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I've tried many breakfasts over the last 2 weeks and this one was far the most greasy breakfast I've had and it's abit of a put off when there is tables right next...
