⛔️Won't be going again. ⛔️ Booked a table for 12 a week ago & was told any table over 8 there would be a 10% service charge. OK Happy with that. A New Rule that wasn't in last year. We came last week (table for 6) Good night it was. Overcharged us a round on bill & highlighted this. They admitted it was there fault & reduced bill to €235. So.. To keep it simple all 6 couples agreed to have separate bills & PAY THE 10% CHARGE. The female manager said NO. ALL on same bill. We all said keep it simple but was adamant NO. Anyway she relented to 3 Bill's. ( 2 couples each). It was a very busy night & some of us got drinks on our way back from toilet. ( paid cash cause convenient). When manager saw 1 of us thru a fit & told us to drink up & leave. So instead of a lovely evening it was spoilt & 12 bodies will DEFINITELY NOT BE GOING BACK. Colonial are down by approx €400+ due to the managers attitude. We tried to have a conversation but she brought the last bill & we was told pay, drink up & leave. All of us was happy to pay but this new ruling meant someone pay full amount on their card & you sort out who drank what & who ordered what. Before I start , good advice for you is to book in advance , we did, but many did not and were turned away, as the Colonial is in high demand. Anyhow, here we go, warm welcome on arrival , drinks Order taken and delivered quickly and then time to peruse the menu... Great choice , we opted for the Chilli Nachos to share which were super and set us ul nicely for our mains ... My wife ordered the chicken tortilla and I opted for the Pork Chops , both mains were delicious and a generous size, tbh the Totilla was probably enough as a sharing dish , so after my chops I did what any husband would do and that was to help out ... yum yum. After a short break we shared the hit chocolate fudge cake. Very nice too. Live singers were doing their bit during dinner, which was a nice touch and way better than background music. Great staff and super food = happy diners 👌 Special mention to the chefs & kitchen staff 👏👏👏

We visited here as a change to the restaurant we normally go to. On entering, we were greeted by lovely friendly staff who predominantly speak English, but can speak spanish too. It was not overly busy, so was nice that it wasn't crowded. We were shown to a table, given a menu, and chose drink whilst browsing the menu. We placed the order and food was served pretty quick and most importantly really hot. The amount of food served was really very good and well cooked. Staff are so nice and polite and say "bye see you again" when you leave. It was so nice, we went back the next day and still great service. Few more customers, but at no point did it seem frantic or ignored. Nice they remembered one of our choices from previous day. Great when you are remembered, given how many customers they must get. OVERALL: Great quality menu and food. Prices reasonable and all served politely, friendly and with a smile. Would...
