We went to Monsoon for a friend’s birthday and turned up early (around 6.30pm) because we had the kids with us. Honestly, this turned out to be the perfect time. The restaurant was quiet, the sunset was just starting, and the kids had a little stage to play on without anyone minding – the staff were brilliant with them and even gave them balloons.

The place itself is immaculate – spotless toilets, smart layout, and a really nice atmosphere with the big fire doors open so you get a cool evening breeze. It feels a bit more elegant than your average Indian back home in Essex, but still welcoming and relaxed.

Food-wise, everything we tried was spot on. The chilli garlic chicken was outstanding, and the king prawn dish was really good too. We shared a few curries between us and it was more than enough – portion sizes were perfect, generous without overloading you. Fresh naan bread was excellent.

What really made it stand out though was the service. Everyone was friendly, happy to adjust dishes to how we wanted them, and nothing was too much trouble. Madhu in particular was amazing – she really looked after us and even came out with a candle for the birthday, which made it feel extra special.

Price-wise, it’s definitely a step up from your average high street curry house, but the quality of food, service, and setting more than make it worth it. For us, it’s the sort of place you’d pick for a special night out on holiday, and we’d happily go back every trip to Tenerife.

Couldn’t fault a single thing. Highly recommended.

My happy place

"I recently visited this new place, and I must say, it has quickly become my happy place! From the moment I stepped in, I was enchanted by the warm, inviting ambience—a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The soft lighting, soothing decor, and thoughtfully curated music created an atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The staff was exceptional—polite, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, making me feel valued and cared for throughout my visit.

And the food... absolutely delectable! Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavors that delighted my palate. Everything was crafted with passion and precision. It's rare to find a place where both the quality of food and the service are equally...

What a fantastic restaurant this is. They cater for all, I'm vegetarian and it was easy for me to choose from the menu unlike most places in adeje. You can get real authentic Indian food here, so full of flavour and freshness. It's also cooked to your preferred heat. Likewise you can have Mexican or pizza perhaps with an Indian twist. The actual restaurant is classy, the cocktails are lovely. The staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much bother, and they are genuinely interested in if you've enjoyed your meal and your time with them. This is definitely a special night out, and if you appreciate really great food and service, give this place a go. You won't be...

Indian wouldn’t usually be our pick when abroad, but read the reviews for this place, and we said we’d give it a chance, and it did not disappoint. For starters (not pictured) we got the chicken pakora with mint sauce, which was beautiful. And for mains, I got the chicken tikka sizzler with egg rice, and my partner got the chicken korma with pilau rice, and then we got the garlic naan to share. The food was full of flavour, and was just absolutely delicious. Perfect portion sizes, and the drinks were 😍. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area, the staff are fantastic too.

A beautiful restaurant which really looks the part. Very easy to book and greeted with a smile on arrival. All the staff were lovely, especially the owners who we had a good talk to about our recent visit to Rajasthan and the food here was just as good as we had in India with very authentic flavours. The bhindi bhaji was our favourite. I have eaten in many Indians in Tenerife and this is the best so far. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
