Absolutely amazing authentic Italian restaurant. We made a spontaneous visit, to the restaurant, during our holiday. We were searching around Alicante for a nice restaurant, which could handle celiacs (gluten allergics) - no problem. We couldn't choose from the entire menu, but we're more than used to that, when going out. When places like this, offers gluten-free (besides a piece of meat and a salad - that you can get everywhere) - we jump in, with the biggest smile. They had several things on the menu, to choose from - example a good handful of pastas, and a couple of desserts. It was amazingly good - like heaven for a celiac. Both the pasta courses and the desserts, consumed with the eyes closed... :) So, first of all, the traditional Italian food we got was extremely good - big high five to the chef. Second, the service was 5 star worthy - welcoming and very friendly, good communication, effective and knew their stuff about gluten. Third, prices are absolutely all right - actually cheap, compared to what quality you get, both regarding food and service. Fourth, the atmosphere in the restaurant took us back to Italy and Rome, where we love to come, just for a short moment... We've have put in a star, on our map - Restaurant Peccati Di Gola, and if we drop by Alicante again, we'll go there again for sure... ...and more than once...

Just the concept of being able to see how they make your food from scratch deserves a few stars, but then you get your food and it's beyond delicious, served by the nicest people I've come across in a restaurant and the experience becomes a 100 out of 10!
We ordered two plates of pasta: carbonara (can't remember the name of the pasta, just the sauce) and pumpkin filled triangoli. And one menu: homemade bread, vegetable soup, spinach anf goat cheese quiche (the best I've ever had!) and Amatriciana pasta. For dessert we had tiramisu and their own recipe of brownie covered by a white chocolate ganache. Everything was perfect!
Most helpful and friendliest staff ever. We arrived pretty late (sorry again!) and they still accommodated us and never made us feel uncomfortable.
The place itself is cozy, clean and comfortable. It amazed us to see how much love they put in everything. I have worked in many restaurants and have never seen a kitchen working so calmly. One can tell they are passionate and caring about what they do.
Everything was so good, I didn't remember to take pictures. Another excuse...
Read moreWe moved to Alicante eleven months ago. This restaurant and the staff was one of the first that we tried and we knew that we had found our new favorite place to dine. Not only is the food amazing, but the owners, cooks and wait staff are simply the best. Always welcoming and excited to tell us what they have prepared for the days ever changing menu. As you enter, someone can be seen in the front window making fresh pasta from scratch. All items are available to take home or to dine in. First to greet you is either the Iliana the chef’s wife, or Alejo the gregarious waiter. In the open kitchen Enrico, the chef, oversees a team of very talented cooks. Every dish is prepared to order and the details of the presentation never disappoint. My only wish is that they had more tables, currently they only have (6) and reservations are a must! If you’re lucky enough to get a table without having a reservation- consider...
