Poor customer service and bad customer satisfaction! This owner/staff/place needs to improve per basic service.
During my stay in Alicante around Christmas, I'd try different brunch places. This place got high scores on Google, however, the service was very disappointing! The owner/staff was not friendly or welcoming as one might wish for. This already sets a not service minded place. We ordered brunch for 4 pax. One brunch menu was dropped on the floor as the the owner/staff -she handed over the tray to me and then it dropped and spilled everywhere. She did clean things up, but needed to refill one brunch set -and only refilled it since I requested. This would be per standard, as for good service. No smiles. No apologies. Handling things like this in your cafe is just not OK or good enough. It leaves a bad and unsatisfied customer experience here. I would never come again due to poor customer service and bad customer satisfaction. Good service is basic a d needed -even if the food is bad, good service triumphs.

Read moreI had a brunch at Maldita Gloria! in Alicante and had an overall pleasant experience. The coffee was truly delightful, and the English-style breakfast offered a unique and satisfying twist. The breakfast included a delicious empanada, fresh fruits, and a variety of cakes, all of which were excellent. The savory elements of the meal were particularly impressive and flavorful.
However, the poached eggs were a bit of a letdown as they were overcooked, which was disappointing given the high quality of the other dishes. Despite this minor flaw, the meal was enjoyable and well-prepared.
The café is conveniently located next door to Ola Hostel, making it an easy stop for travelers staying nearby. In general, Maldita Gloria! provides a good dining experience with a welcoming atmosphere and tasty offerings. I would recommend it for a satisfying breakfast or coffee stop...
Read moreOur friends invited us to brunch there. They recommended we take the brunch menu as it is huge and fulfilling. When the brunch arrived, our friends told us that the portions are much smaller than what they used and were a bit troubled. Honestly speaking the portions could be a bit bigger. I really enjoyed the granola with the yoghurt, the fruits were a nice selection and the eggs benedict were okay-could be a bit bigger as a portion. We also tried the pear pie, not our favorite, it was too sweet. Would recommend to opt for a different dessert if you don’t want something overly sweet. Overall I enjoyed the idea, you have a few different dishes to try from so you don’t have to limit yourself. The service was very...
