During my recent visit to Deep Blue Restaurant, I encountered several issues that significantly detracted from the dining experience. The quality of the food was subpar, failing to meet expectations or justify the price point. My girlfriends “rare” steak was well done and inedible and too tough to chew with little to no taste. The only way I can explain the taste of my burger was that the patty tasted like dog food and extremely processed and dry. Unfortunately, the situation was exacerbated by the owner’s response, which was dismissive and lacked accountability, offering no solution to the concerns raised. The only positive was the friendly waiter and good sangria, other than that I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs!!! If you take a further walk up the path you will have better cheaper options. We have tried a few restaurants in that area which have been a really good experience. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!!! If I had to put my finger on what was most memorable, I'd probably go for the general confusion of the waiters, running around aimlessly, loudly discussing the discrepancies between orders and deliveries, who took orders or should take orders - while standing next to the table where people are waiting to order - with 3 tables occupied by a total of 10 guests and 5 waiters on duty.
Then again, the food was unforgettable as well. Expectations were already reasonably low having sat down on the beach front of "cheap-drunk-sunburn-I'll have all of that-Las Américas", and by God they were met. My recommendation: don't go for the mixed grill plate, matter of fact probably better don't go for meat at all. Think of the tenderness you get from a flip flop, now walk that flip flop in your mind for 3 years and you'll have a pretty good idea about what you'll find on your plate on top of a hand full of half cooked fries, with no salt.

Vine a relajarme y tomarme un batido de fresa y plátano (de frutas) tranquila, al camarero se le veía estresado y agobiado con la vida, pero lo pedi y su respuesta fue que lo tenía solo con helado y le dije que vale que entonces no, y su respuesta fue “aquí de toda la vida se hace así porque es un batido, en latinoamérica no se como se hará pero aquí es así” de manera prepotente y despota, yo claramente me empecé a molestar por su actitud y sus comentarios innecesarios pero empecé a pensar en otra opción para pedir y el se estaba estresando, porque al parecer quería que le dijera YA de inmediato lo que iba a pedirme, repito, yo quería un batido especifico y no me lo podían ofrecer, lo entiendo pero tenía que pensar en otra opción, le pedí un café helado y tampoco lo tenían así que le dije que mejor me dejara tiempo para pensar, se fue resoplando y suspirando enfadado y al cabo de unos minutos volvió y se paró en nuestra mesa esperando a que le dijera algo, pero yo seguía pensando, y se volvió a ir resoplando muy enfadado, cabe decir que todos los camareros empezaron a mirarnos reiteradamente a mi y a mi amiga intimidandonos. MUY mala actitud por parte de este señor, creo que era el encargado o algo por el estilo porque él mandaba a los demás empleados. ¡QUE APRENDAN A TRATAR A TODOS LOS CLIENTES POR IGUAL! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
