Pork&Tuna — Restaurant in Barcelona

Beautiful meal at P&T last week. My other half and I went for a few dishes (7) including the Bravas, Iberian pork shoulder, sardines, salmon tartar, sobrasada, and steak tartar. (Our eyes were bigger than our bellies but we did just about manage it all! I was in my element eating the whole thing. We chose an organic red wine to wash the food down with which was wonderfully spicy and warm, it had to be decantered (which we were absolutely fine with) The downside: it was very quiet, we had the restaurant to ourselves at 8pm until 9.30pm- for the quality of the food, the wine, the very fair pricing and the staff, for me the restaurant is far too quiet which must mean people don’t know much about the pace yet!! Delicious and fresh gourmet plates! Friendly service and amazing wines. Everything tastes wonderful and is of the best quality. The sumptuous jamón, the fresh tuna (hence pork and tuna) the tomato bread, the canalones, the incredible selection of wines make this gourmet shop and restaurant a must visit. We were enjoying so much they had to offer that we did not realize how quickly the time passed. A variety of incredible plates kept flowing. Located at the ground floor of an apartment building beside Parque Diagonal and near the beach.

Service was great, friendly and not too intrusive. Gave good recommendation.

Had the house white wine on recommendation which was fantastic!

Bravas was great, with smoky tasted otato (with skin still on) complemented by the creamy Asian sauce(slightly spicy).

The squid ink croquete was tasty but slightly dry.

The Pulpo is excellent with well roasted yet tender octopus. The Iberiam jowel adds a slignt salty taste. The chickpea hummus rounds it up well.
