Absolutely authentic wonderful local vibe. Found this restaurant while walking down some alleyway near the La Rambla area. Prices were much cheaper than the tourist trap restaurants in the main La Rambla and most of the patrons seemed to be locals and a lot of the people around the bar area seemed to know the staff.
As for the food, it was fantastico. Every tapas bar has their own take on the Patata Bravas sauce and I loved their one the best during my stay in Barcelona. I also liked the spicy Catalan sausage. The baby octupus was brilliant as well and had a tangy sauce and some greens which added some layers to the dish. The fried squids were also perfectly seasoned and had the right amount of crunch.
Very fast and efficient no nonsense service. The servers and staff knew what they were doing and you could tell they have been in the industry for a while. The cava was superb as well.

I could only imagine if the waiter joined his lie and I had to pay for more then what I had. Bref, une fois que lâon sait ce que lâon veut manger, nous commandons nos tapas et pile au milieu de prendre la commande, le serveur lĂšve son stylo de son carnet, regarde vers le bar et se casse. Nous lâinterpellons finalement aprĂšs quelques longues minutes sans quâil revienne pour finir notre commande et monsieur se permet de nous dire que ce que nous commandons « es demasiado, es mucho » et refuse de nous prendre la suite de notre commande en disant que câest trop et quâon ne finira jamais⊠du jamais vu.
