Bar restaurant Xinès — Restaurant in Barcelona

We had a surprisingly lovely dinner here. As a vegetarian I struggled finding variety of meals in Barcelona but they have 2 pages of various vegetable dishes to choose from. We opted for the mapo tofu and sichuan beans and both of these dishes were amazing! My partner also got the Sichuan chicken which was ok.

The atmosphere is very relaxed with the kitchen basically in the same room as the tables. The menu is only in chinese or spanish and we don’t really speak either but the staff was nice about this and helped us choose.

The WORST service ever!! If you happen to be a young Chinese woman, I’d suggest not going to this restaurant because their waiter is going to treat you like you are nothing. The waiter SAT down in front of me to take my order and didn’t bring me cutlery until I asked. And he didn’t even remember what I ordered when there were only four tables and he was not busy at all. The food was good but DO NOT trust the owner. We were tourist and got scammed. Looking at the bill, we were charged to something we did not order. Something costed more. My Dad was reacting to the large bill, made a scene so I left quickly. It wasn't until we returned to where we stayed, looked at the bill closely then realized we got scammed.
