So this has been my go-to all you can eat sushi restaurant for a while, the dishes are delicious and it’s remarkably cheap considering. However my experience today, as funny as it was, has also made me reconsider whether I’d ever go back 😅. My sister was visiting me and I insisted we go and eat here, she was very reluctant because of how cheap the prices were, but I insisted that there was nothing sketch about this place. Lo and behold, after we finish eating, I look up to see a pair of tiny legs sticking out of a calendar hanging on the wall right above my sister. I continue staring at it in confusion thinking it was a very large moth, until this little creature finally crawls to the front of the calendar. That’s when I realised I was staring at a fat, juicy cockroach. In a panic, I felt uncertain whether I should tell my sister there was a roach crawling in her direction, gunning for her. I chose not to alarm her, I didn’t want her to tell me she was right about the restaurant being sketch, besides what are the odds it would actually interact with her? I was wrong to think that, as quickly as it crawled out from behind the calendar, it suddenly flung its compact body onto her. In complete disbelief, I jolted up, and my sister in confusion asked me what had happened and whether something had fallen on her. I meekly muttered, “no, nothing happened. I just thought of a funny story”, I began chuckling in discomfort. “Are you sure?” She said, “because I swear I felt someone fall on me”. I insisted that nothing had happened, terrified to tell her and deciding to commit to hide the whole incident. Long story short, I am very grossed out and traumatised that this roach decided to assault my sister. I won’t be telling her the truth anytime soon, what she doesn’t know can’t hurt her. If you don’t have a problem with cockroaches than this is the place for you, the sushi is delicious! If you do however (like me) I recommend you steer clear...
Read moreWent here on someone's recommendation, so I can only guess the food quality fluctuates a lot. Kitchen is not organised, one part cooks the warm dishes and another prepares the sushi. If you order both warm and cold dishes they should pass the order paper on to the other section, but that gets forgotten an awful lot. The sushi was nice but the warm dishes were quite sad. All of the fried foods were fried in too cold oil, making them greasy not crispy. Mussels weren't fresh but very fishy. We ordered dim sum and one of the four was completely cold, the others luke warm. The edamame were so old they were on the edge of fermenting. Service was OK but make sure you get seated downstairs, upstairs they forget you totally, and then half way through your meal they ask you to sit downstairs and move all your stuff to a table on the ground floor for their convenience. Drinks that are less than half full will not be moved to your new table but are considered empty and get taken away, making you order a new one. With so much mismanagement and lack of attention to freshness of the food, I find it hard to imagine this place is ever capable of food beyond 3 points. The owner is nice but when we addressed these issues he said something along the lines of please don't be angry, to which all his employees laughed. I have a feeling the misorganisation comes from staff doing whatever they want and nobody being...
Come?!
Sollecitiamo dopo altri 15 minuti e finalmente arrivano. All’entrata i moscerini e le mosche svolazzavamo sopra i sushi già pronti.
