Bodega del Gòtic – Tapas done well
We stumbled upon Bodega del Gòtic during a casual Friday stroll by the port, and let’s just say—we accidentally made a great decision.
The staff were lightning-fast, super friendly, and happy to steer us through the menu with some solid suggestions. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for the area, especially considering the quality of the food.
We kicked things off with some patatas bravas—angry little potatoes with a spicy kick and zero regrets. Then came the old cow steak, which was a first for me. Not your average cut of beef, but flavorful, rich, and definitely worth trying at least once.

Context, They also have a cigarette machine which I have used many times. This week I visited just to use the machine. It was not working like usual and I asked for help. They seemed very grateful and friendly when we attempted to order in Spanish. We were drawn there for the paella and sangria special, €19 pp which is so affordable compared to neighbouring places. We would have even paid more for the quality of our seafood paella. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a casual but authentic...
