Canalla Beach Club Barcelona — Restaurant in Barcelona

Myself & my daughter found this place due to the Acai beach club….which was amazing & excellent value for money! Unfortunately the same could not be said for the Canalla Beach Club! When we ordered our acai bowl we also wanted a caramel iced latte. We were then told that Acai beach did the Acai bowls but Canalla Beach Club did the coffees so had to pay separately…which all seemed fine. Then got told that they had no caramel syrup once again said this was fine we would just have a normal iced latte…then the waiter came over & said that he would make us something special as they didn’t have the syrup … said a standard iced latte would be fine but he insisted & made us the iced coffee pictured below…which was lovely but then got hit with 20 euro bill for 2 iced coffees!!! When I said that this didn’t seem right the waiter just said he was really sorry but he didn’t make the prices. I felt I had no choice but to pay but went to speak to the waiter who made them & said if I had known they were going to be 10 euros each I wouldn’t have ordered them…he said it was coz it was like an expresso martini cocktail so that’s why they were that expensive but they had no alcohol in them!!! ABSOLUTE RIP OFF…just go in with your eyes open coz we didn’t & as 2 women tourists we definitely got taken...

This was by far the worst paella I’ve ever had. It was bland, overcooked, and lacked any real flavor. On top of that, the service was incredibly disappointing. The staff were not friendly — not to us and not to each other. There was noticeable tension between them, which made the whole atmosphere uncomfortable. To make matters worse, they forgot to bring us cutlery, even after the food had already been served. We ended up having to take utensils from another table just to be able to eat. Bad experience Went in to get an Acai bowl and had to pay first even when sitting for drinks. The açai did not come after 30 minutes and we had to ask where it was and the server suggested he had forgotten. When paying for our last drinks, the guy serving was hiding the card machine display and when I looked he had put in €78 for an €18 order. I questioned it but he just said it was a mistake, but it seemed suspicious. Bad vibe in general and the DJ was killing the vibe, scratching...
