Been to ELDISET many times and it's about time to show my gratitude to the staff and owner of this gem of a place in Born. The staff as always is attentive, and kind, offering recommendations and ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.
Their wine selection is another standout feature, boasting an array of choices that beautifully showcase Catalonia's rich vineyards. Each wine recommended by our server perfectly complemented our meals, enhancing the flavors and overall dining experience.
The food, particularly the tostadas, were simply delicious. The roast beef tostada was my personal favorite, featuring tender, flavorful meat that was cooked to perfection and served on a crisp tostada that added just the right amount of crunch. The fried chicken was unbelievably good.
The atmosphere at ELDISET is equally charming, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance that makes you feel right at home. Coupled with the best service, it's an inviting space where you can enjoy a leisurely meal and great conversation.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Barcelona, especially in Born. I live here and there is a reason my friends and I love this place. From top to bottom, a wonderful time. Thanks again to the owner and staff for making our time...
Read moreOne of the best bars in town. Period. Great cocktails and amazing tapas. We were in barcelona for the weekend and we went to this bar to check it out. The bar has a decent selection of cava and wines but the cocktails are amazing. The bartender Rodriguez is great in mixing something up for you - completely customized - based on what you like. We tried a few cocktails - Jamaican mule, margaritas, mojitos and they were all made well! I have to talk about the tapas here as it was amazing - We tried the croquettas and we had had a few all weekend but this one was so good that we went back the next day to eat them again. We also tried the bread with blue cheese, raspberry jam and green apple and bread with spicy chorizo which was great too... lovely place to hang out on a friday/saturday night. Not too noisy - you can have a decent conversation and the music is quite good. Can get a little too busy and crowded over the weekend so good to make a reservation. We had to wait on saturday night for about 45 mins. Im definitely going back here when in barcelona. Highly...
Read moreAmongst all the tapas places that we went to while visiting Barcelona, Eldiset was the best and it really wasn’t even close.
We had just stuffed our faces at another tapas place a mere two hours prior, so we didn’t get a huge sampling of the menu, but what we did try was absolutely delicious.
The croquettes were creamy on the inside and crunchy on the out. They were lacking some texture, as the protein was totally ground up into the filling, my only complaint.
Next, we had the Sobresada and Tuna Taki tapas on toast, both of which were the best things I tasted in all of Barcelona. wish I had room for more, but sadly, we were full.
Fast forward about five minutes and the mango cheesecake went down and that too, was delicious. Not too sweet, just a perfect way to end the meal.
In our opinion, a must stop while...
