So good it brought me to tears and I normally don’t write reviews. I was visiting Barcelona for the first time and, on top of that, by myself. I was jumping around all the touristy areas and couldn’t settle on a place to eat for dinner. I kept looking at different places and menus for at least 2 hours but nothing really caught my eye. I happened to see Calabrasa on my Maps. The wait staff were so sweet, welcoming, and attentive. The food was so amazing it brought me to tears. I am normally a fast eater and sometimes forget to taste my food but this food was so good I didn’t want it to end. The Burrata Salad was so creamy and soft and combined with the candied nuts was so good! I had the Cod with Prawn sauce (Bacalla PilPil) and it had me in tears. The sauce was perfection and the cod was so soft that I didn’t need to chew. I was so tempted to order the cod again. Once I finished, I literally was so sad that I couldn’t help to order something else. Decided on the Steak Tartar and, yeah, it put me to tears too. It was so tender, sweat, and rich but there was a hint of acidity that really balanced it out. The meal made me so giddy after lol. The entire experience was truly amazing! Thank you so much for being so friendly and...

I hope this message finds you well. I recently dined at your restaurant and, while the food was enjoyable, I feel compelled to share my disappointment regarding the behavior of one of your waitstaff members.

During my visit, I encountered a lack of courtesy and professionalism from our waiter. Their demeanor was unhelpful and inattentive, which significantly affected my overall dining experience. As a customer, I believe it's essential to be treated with respect and kindness, qualities that were regrettably absent during my time at your establishment.

I believe in providing constructive feedback, and I hope this message can serve as an opportunity for improvement. I believe that addressing these concerns will not only enhance the experience for future customers but also contribute positively to the reputation of your restaurant.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your understanding and look forward to hearing about the steps taken to...

This was an extraordinary gastro experience! Quite unexpectedly as the rating was not super high, and the place itself does not look fancy. Literally all 8 starters and mainers were of stunning taste and very good to excellent presentation. It's truly difficult to name the winner, but if I had to it'd be White chocolate and Foie Doughnuts. Also strongly recommended are Red Tina tartar (as a big starter to share, albeit offered as a main course), Steak tartar (beef) with coffee mayonnaise, Bao bread with squids and stewed beef, Cannelloni with mushrooms, Grilled beef sirloin (med rare, super tender!) and finally Duck with elegant red wine sauce. The very next day we came here to enjoy paella (black arros) - it was also delicious though looked frightening:)). Finally, the staff were touchingly friendly and demonstrated strong ability to solve problems ))) The place is simply our top pick of this...

Our waiter was very friendly and welcoming, however the whole experience was let down by the food. Between 4 of us, my partner and I ordered a dish of vegetarian paella (€18 each, so €36 for one dish) and our other 2 friends had a black paella (€20 each). The vegetarian paella just tasted of salt, had no interesting vegetables in it and had no socarrat - why are we paying €36 for a dish of basic veg and rice? The black paella rice was undercooked and drenched in squid ink too. Considering we paid nearly €80 for two dishes of paella we did expect our money's worth, yet we were left very disappointed. Shame because the staff were great, but we would not recommend the paella to anyone - paying €20 per head you're better off elsewhere. Looking at the other reviews, we may have been better off ordering something else because other dishes look much better🤔
