Filigrana — Restaurant in Barcelona

We went to this restaurant not knowing how amazing it is. It is very expensive but they deliver nothing but quality! They served us free appetizers and they were so out of the ordinary that we had never tried anything like those dishes. I am attaching a picture of one such appetizer. It was eggs cooked with potatoes in an unfamiliar fashion. We tried their seafood Paella(It had sea cucumber in it) and it was fabulous. They served fresh bread with a range of olive oil collections. However, I would like to point out the prices mentioned on the menu(at-least the main course dishes) are listed for per person!! This is something I have never seen anywhere else. Absolutely flawless experience. It's a classy place with good intimacy (not too many tables packed together) and nice decor. The service is very professional and attentive and our every need (or perceived need) were catered to from the beginning to the end. The food was equally of high quality.I had beef tenderloin which was served in slices and only slightly cooked but it came with a heated lava stone so I could have it exactly as I wanted. It worked perfectly and wasn't a hassle at all. It came with a potato puree with truffle oil and a small green salad. All super good and for the price of only 22€!! My gf had monkfish at the same price which was also exquisite. We'll come again...

The food here is very, very good. I would absolutely recommend the filet mignon which is brought to you partially cooked, and you have the option to cook it on the table on a small rock grill to your liking.

I’ve been to many places & eaten many steaks, and, genuinely, this must be my favourite! I would return to Barcelona just for this!

I visited just as they opened for the day, so the restaurant was not busy at all. It has an up-market vibe...
