We live in the neighborhood and we went to this kebap house since the very first day they opened (a few months ago) when the price per piece was under 3 Euros and eventually became a regular. The quality and price was exceptional. The guy (I suppose was the owner as he resemble the one on the poster) took his time to prepare our order and always smile and greeted or even talked with the customers. We didn't mind waiting at all. The quantity of the food was also generous, lots of chicken meat and well prepared fresh/grilled veggies.
Today we went back after almost a month during holiday time. We found out the price was increased about 1 Euro more which was fine and I think the business deserves this. One thing we didn't expect at all is the quality of the food and service that was dramatically dropped. We order 1 dorum and 1 gemuse kebap. The young guy who prepared the food didn't care at all of what he did. He just put everything in the bread which was not toasted on the machine like the owner did. the kebab bread was very soggy with tough texture by the time we got home. The quantity of meat and veggies was also reduced in contrary to the price they increased!!! The worst of all was the girl who in charge of the cashier. She was totally lack of professionalism, no smile and no service mile. When the food was ready, she just knocked the window glass and point her finger to the food. She treats the customers very badly and works like she was forced to do her job.
The tastiness and charm of this lovely kebab place we always crave and long to come back is now gone forever. We will NEVER...
Read moreI’ve been a long time customer of Mustafa’s since I lived in Berlin and always recommended it to friends. I was so excited to discover this, when passing through Barcelona! Wow! And wow what a disappointment! I ordered the vegetable durum which is usually filled with veg and some salad added on top. I reallly impose management to train the staff properly as what I received was a kebab of salad - 95% lettuce and tomatoes and a bit of onion. It had 2 small slices of courgette and 1 or aubergine, and 4 chips, I asked the man making it does this not come with vegetables and he assured me it was. I couldn’t even get back up as the place was crowded. He also asked if I wanted spicy and I said definitely and he didn’t not put any on, it was quite bland, and the bread was cold. So I’m summary I países 5:50 for a wrap with salad which is really a total waste and I don’t think is the intention of this place. Please train staff and pls have respect for customers paying money that means...
Read moreOh, I have a great problem with reviewing this place… after trip to Montserrat we wanted to eat something quick and fulfilling. After looking at Maps and reviews the choice was Mustafa’s. The line outside the place didn’t discouraged us, we prevailed 🙂 the menu is very simple and very well displayed. You order and wait for a free cook who make it fresh for You. And now: it’s not as fresh as it could be: the meat is precut and stored in heating pod, in result it wasn’t as hot as it could be and to be honest it wasn’t cold in some places. Choose for meat is also limited: chicken or beef. That it. Vegetable are top tier - tasty, crispy and well made. If you order Gemüse there is additional fee of 0,80€ (they ask if you want cheese). Overall it wasn’t the best Kebap I’ve ever had and probably also not the best in Barcelona. It’s good but not the best as the queue could suggest 🙂 overall experience was good but not the best! Prices are...
