Initial impression is a pretty average all you can eat,. looks can be deceiving however.
At first the staff seems glum,. but throw them a compliment or two and suddenly they'll be fawning all over you. Toss in a tip at the end of your dinner and you'll be the hero of their day.
For 14 euros at dinner (drinks are charged separate) you can eat your fill on a choice of sea foods (crab, shells, shrimp and many more), rice, noodles, various greens, sushi (at any other place in town youll pay 1.45 per sushi), chicken, beef,. their buffet bar is basically HUGE. Unlimited ice cream / dessert as well. The two of us ended up paying 35 euros, and a tip of 5e because we felt embarrassed at the low price of the food we ate :) Just the day before we were in a resaurant and got a bill for 65 euros,. a huge difference,. I wish we had found this place sooner really.
Tip: Skip out on the premade fried foods - yeah those aren't all that wonderful, lukewarm and oily in some cases,. that's the reason i'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5. Stuff yourself with shrimp, crab, squid and shells, sushi,. and then mix in a few stacks of ice cream for dessert. You'll get more than your money's worth out of...
Read moreIf you decide to go there keep in mind that:
the staff is very VERY rude! No greetings when you enter the restaurant - just pointing at the table where you should sit (without even asking if you expect someone else);
NO English! If you are a tourist and you don't know Spanish, there is no way to communicate with them!
the food is cold! We had to heat it every time using a super disgusting microwave that I assume it hasn't been cleaned for more than a year!
"the specialty buffet" - there are some raw fishes that you need to give the chef to cook it for you, but as I mentioned earlier, you cannot figure it out since they do not speak English to explain that to you;
When we were there they were about to close in 20min, but nobody told us that. So we end up in the middle of their closing routine: while we were eating they start to clean the floor ( even under our table!) and later on they started to turn off the lights at the other side of the restaurant. That is how we figure out that they are closing, but as I said NOBODY told us that when we get there!
That wasn't the worst part of that unpleasant experience. The four of us got some kind of food poisoning. The bad thing was that on the next day was our flight back and that was definitely the worst fight that any of us ever...
Read moreI don't agree with negative reviews. I like this clean and cozy place. Waiters very polite, they watched to ensure that the table didn't accumulate dirty dishes and we were not left without attention. When we came to the restaurant, we did not wait and we were immediately offered a free table. Waiter offered to order drinks. He spoke a little English and Spanish. Prices for drinks are average, as in other bars or restaurants in the city center. Maybe the prices are little too high, but if you want to eat in a restaurant and pay for beer as much as it costs in a store then go to Mercadona and buy beer there and drink it on the street. The products are fresh. We ordered a lot and everything is different. Here you can choose raw foods and then give them to the cook and he will cook them for you. We ate sushi, then shrimp, fish, steaks, shish kebabs from chicken and pork, desserts etc. Even the cooks said goodbye to us! The restaurant doesn't have a refined interior, but inside it's pretty nice. If you're looking for designer seats then go to restaurants with a Michelin star. Although Michelin gives stars even for street food, where everything is fried not at the very fresh oil. This is Asian cuisine and they have their own rules and you must understand this or go to McDonald's and do...
