I’m shocked with how many good reviews this place has. Clearly the people leaving good reviews are not very experienced tapas diners.
Tomatoe bruschetta: was the worst i’ve ever had. Bland, tasteless; for a tapas restaurant to get something so simple so wrong, rang alarm bells.
Spicy sausage: absolutely dreadful. No spice/flavour whatsoever. 3/4 had to be sent back it was that bad.
Pork with sweet potatoe puree: pork was cooked well but lay in a bed of water so I had to add lots of salt and pepper for flavour. Puree was tasteless and too moist, like water, too gloopy.
Burger well done: came out rare so had to send back. Came out a second time, too dry, no flavour, had to send 3/4 back.
When I complained about the burger, the waitress came back to our table, disassembled the burger in front of us on our table and insisted that we were wrong. After only agreeing to deduct €1.76 off an €80 bill, I told her I was not paying for the burger, to which she became rude.
Avoid this establishment at all costs, if you’re wanting a truly authentic and flavourful spanish tapas experience. This place was awful, will...
Read moreWe stayed at an apartment near Arc de Triomf. On the second day of our stay in Barcelona, we ate at this restaurant. The service was excellent!! We ordered Sangria and that was great. But I hit the glass and it fell down on the floor...oh no! At that moment, I heard the voice coming from an waiter saying "No ploblem!" And some of the staff came to clean the broken glass and wiped the floor so quickly, saying, "You keep eating, don't touch it." I felt so sorry and so impressed. The floor got cleaned and then a new glass of sangria was on the table for me! I was so amazed at their hospitality. That was the greatest service I had in Spain. I truly recommend this restaurant. You are sure to have a wonderful time with wonderful spanish food...

2019 November with four stars: Only had ribs that were divine and fried calamari that was superb, a reminiscent of my childhood calamaris; if only they could be served with some tarator sauce. A bit off the beaten path and a not cheap lunch menu, we were full with one starter a person. Will go back to check their other selections. A star-off until then since place was empty at the time we went; and can’t gauge the ambiance and effectiveness...
