Restaurante Manga Rosa — Restaurant in Barcelona

The place is nicely decorated and welcoming but the service was terrible. We were a table of 11 that went for dinner to celebrate a friends birthday. The waiter just brought the food and drinks at one end of the table and told us to distribute it amongst ourselves. There was nothing blocking his way. I usually wouldn't post a review for something like this, I would just not repeat and leave it at that. The reason why I am posting this is because I have food poisoning three days after having been there. I live with my brother and we usually share the same food but he wasn't at that dinner and, curiously enough, the 3 people that ordered burguers that night all have food...

If I read the other reviews, we must have caught them on a bad day. The restaurant is nicely decorated, with friendly and helpful staff and very democratic prices. But the food was horrible: the seafood spaghetti had 1000 bits of hard shell mixed in it, couldn't take a single bite without having to remove seafood shell. Unfortunately the same issue with the fish dish. The chicken meatballs had different pieces of cartilage in it, and the pork meat was partially undercooked. Even the flan dessert didn't taste well. So, 4 stars for the friendly staff and nice atmosphere, 0 starts for the food:...

I loved it! Totally professional waiter, polite perfect professional. The food was great I had the 11,90€ lunch menu with rissoto, then with the perfect tender loin in a tunafish-cheese sauce with fried potatos. I was full it tasted great and the price was small for what I got with a half a liter of water too. The place was full but I did not have to wait too long, and it was a wonderful experience. I hope alot of people go there...
