My boyfriend and I chose Sofitel Restaurant for his birthday dinner, and it was truly a perfect celebration! We opted for the menu option, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The attention to detail in the food was remarkable and each bite was a delight. We didn’t want any alcoholic drinks but the restaurant had a great selection of mocktails served in elegant glasses which added a special touch to the evening. The best part for us was dessert. We indulged in three different desserts and a glass of champagne it was the perfect way to end the night. The staff were exceptional warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout. They made us feel special from the moment we walked in, and their kindness elevated the entire experience. We’re already looking forward to coming back to explore the new menu soon. We were staying at the hotel so went down to the restaurant for an easy lunch. It was so disappointing, I wouldn’t go back even though we stay here often. The Beef wellington wasn’t seared at all so it was just grey, flavourless and very undercooked for medium rare. We ordered veg to go with it which was forgotten, we reminded them and it took 20 minutes the come. No one came to see how the food was so after the 20 min wait for the veg I let them know it wasn’t cooked medium rare at all.

They gave the steak a fry which made the flavour far better, it was quality meat ruined by poor technique. Not searing the meat in a beef wellington is just bizarre.

We also had a pesto pasta which was bland, no seasoning and just not good in any way. I would avoid. There’s so much good food in the area and this restaurant will...

I do like to give five stars, but this place actually deserves more. We arrived early, at 5:30 pm, as a family with small children and quite hungry. Our waiter was absolutely on point—attentive, (child)friendly, patient and highly professional. He explained the dishes to us and gave great recommendations. We had the option of communicating in English, French, or Spanish. There’s also a kids’ menu, and despite initial doubts, the kids finished everything on their plates. For the adults, we had tapas, and honestly, I’ve never had such unique and absolutely delicious tapas before. Incredibly tasty and definitely fine dining. There wasn’t a single dish that wasn’t delicious. In the end, we were all full :)
