TUR&CO Restaurante — Restaurant in Barcelona

I'm saddened to post this as this has been a popular place for us to get takeaway from for months - we've ordered many times and had every single item on their menu.

No idea what is happening here but the quality is in terminal decline and it seems each order is worse than the last now.

Last night we ordered and;

The borek dish that is supposed to be full of feta cheese was completely empty of cheese (it was only full of onion with ZERO cheese, what the hell) The muhamara was SO dry - this is usually delicious, oily and fresh but what arrived had clearly been made a very long time ago

This place used to be one of our regulars to order from but they are losing their touch and their quality. And they took away dishes we liked (the courgette pancake is no more on glovo...)

I hope they get back to how they used to be as we have gone from happy customers to...

Easily the best restaurant serving Turkish cuisine in Barcelona as of 2023. You can find all the classic main dishes as well as a solid variety of cold and warm mezes and the much loved national drink, raki. The chef is obviously very talented as he tweaks every dish ever so slightly, not totally departing from the original recipe but enough to give a new modern take with a new ingredient or two, greatly adding to the experience. I found myself even ordering dishes I did not particularly enioy, just to try the chefs take on it. If you like Turkish, balkan or middle eastern cuisine, it is a must try. The prices are a bit on the higher side and the portions on the smaller side but the total experience more than makes up for them....

The service is just a joke. No smile. No friendly greeting. We were the only table and had to wave and call the two waiters glued to their phones behind the counter. Then they argued who has to serve us. Food was cold and when I called the waiter he touched my food in front of me to verify it was cold. When I finished he came to clear the table while my friend still ate, standing there and rushing him, waiting for him to finish. I lived in Istanbul for 2 years - food was far from what you’d...
