Munda — Restaurant in Córdoba

My friend and I went to the bar because it was said to serve the "best burgers in town". Unfortunately it turned out to be quite disappointing! Having a drink while waiting 10 minutes until the kitchen opened at 20:00 didn't bother us at all and the service was kind. I went on to order the "Mundo Burger" while she opted to go for the lentil one. The burgers arrived with cold buns and the fries were served without any sauce. So far not ideal but still acceptable. The "Mundo Burger" had a rather small paddy garnished with some pretty tasteless vegetables and only little sauce making it less taste and delightful than a Whopper that sells at a wellknown American fast food chain. The lentil paddy on her burger was super mushy, not crispy at all and the only seasoning they seemed to have used for it was way to much salt, the consistency and lack of flavour being likened to baby food. Regarding the vegetables and sauce it was comparable to the "Mundo Burger" but contrary to the one I ordered we didn't want to finish hers. We left pretty disappointed wishing we had opted for another night of tapas, other local food or even just a good pizzeria. Great pizza , quite a nice setting but slow and not too enthusiastic service. Restaurant was slightly hard to find as signage isn't obvious and interior didn't seem to match the internet photos available before we arrived. The restaurant has tables in the street and inside. We decided to eat inside as the doors were open and it felt a nice temperature. We arrived at 8pm and were the only ones eating inside all evening, but a few people were sat outside for drinks. The waiter served at the bar and tables. I've only given a 3 star for service because he took our drinks order but although it wasn't busy it was at least 10 mins before he returned for the food order - 2 pizzas. Nice and easy stop for good food at fair prices near the city center. Tasty pizzas and burgers (plus a selection of tapas as ever across the city).

The interesting thing here is the vibe. It is on a small street, off the main plazas/streets, and warms up slowly in the evenings from a quiet place to a more vibrant place, with what seems to be all neighbors and friends (including whole families with kids) gathering over a few hours. We went around 7:30pm and stayed though 10:30 or so, and the mood just kept getting happier (and not just from more beer and wine!) throughout the evening (a Friday night).
