Rincón Granaino — Restaurant in Jerez

Usually in a place like this you know what to expect but all was surprises here. We ordered the usual breakfast of 2 coffees and 2 tostadas. The coffees arrived without the toast - delivered by a different server (so far so good but a little unusual.) After waiting long enough to start to become agitated, we saw server 2 wandering around with - what looked to be - our tostadas.he then disappeared. After a while we asked about our food and he was surprised, told us it wouldn’t be long and it finally appeared 5 minutes later. It was tasty but simple so that’s expected. Based on this story so far, you can only imagine how long it took to get the bill. We asked after working up a sweat flagging someone down. He told us how much, agreed to payment with card and left (to get the machine, we assumed). He never returned. Eventually, we went in to pay. Of course there was a huge discussion and disagreement between server 1 and 2 about what we’d had and, thanks to the woman working inside and my explanation, we sorted out the bill and paid up. I have no idea why this happened but it did and there are plenty of other places...

Food is as decent as any other random place I'm Jerez, but the real problem is the service. Not only it is the slowest ever (when they even come to your table), it also feels like you owe them for the privilege of being there. Tanks and please are not words on their dictionary no matter how much you smile and try. Gave the place a couple of tries as it is really close to where I'm living, in the hopes it was just a bad day... But no. It's sistematic and a definitely...

De vergüenza, casi 5 eur por una copa de palo cortao, un vino de aquí, de jerez, de mi tierra, se creerán que todos los que venimos aquí somos guiris o algo. Pero a los jerezanos a la cárcel, no vas a venir a robar . No aparezco más por aquí, ladrones que es lo que son. Antes de que me digan que ese vino era bueno.... Si el vino es bueno se sirve con la botella en la mesa. Además cuando se lo digo a la encargada me dice que pregunte yo a cuanto está el vino, 20 años de experiencia en hostelería, se a cuanto se vende un Leonor (nombre más conocido de este vino), es más, la soberbia de ella al decirme que esto es el centro y tal y cuál que me fuera a calle larga a pedirlo. Pues le comento "señora" fuimos a la calle larga y preguntamos, el Leonor, una media de 2.80-3.20 la copa, en plena calle larga y si, "señora" vimos la botella que había en la barra. Un ultimo dato sobre este establecimiento, cuando le dije que me estaba robando a la cara y que había dejado una reseña en Google para que quedara constancia de ello, sus palabras textuales "yo la reseña me la paso por el forro" Sinceramente, un sitio conocido de los jerezanos, que ahora se convierte en lugar de paso y robo de guiris y de paso de todo aquel que cometa el error de...
