Casa Verde - Vegan Restaurant and Organic Shop — Restaurant in La Orotava

I get the idea of eco shop + bistro, that´s nice. But I don´t really get the pricing. I ordered a toast from the menu for 3,50e and what I got, was one tiny square of bread, poorly spread with tahini paste, few super thin slices of apple, sprinkled very gently with black sesame + few drops of agave. Honestly, time during which I wrote here all these ingredients was double the amount of time which I spent eating that poor toast. And - before you bombard me with arguments how these eco-bio-raw ingredients are expensive - I know they are, I myself often buy vegan/vegetarian products and try to live sustainably, so I also know that despite the prices of ingredients, is still your ratio of quantity and price pretty bad. It seems like you want to earn too much money on people who just try to live healthy/support vegetarian places, which is pretty sad, cause without this pricing problem I´d call your place very nice and meaningful, but now I don´t think I´ll visit again...

Casa Verde is my favorite place in Tenerife!! You gotta try their morning glory juice, protein burger and banana nut muffin!! Soooo delicious! I was visiting my parents who live in La Orotava and had to work remotely. Casa Verde has wifi, comfortable seating and the most delicious, healthy, vegan food! This quickly became my second home during my trip. The owners are the sweetest people ever and made me feel so comfortable and safe.
