100 Montaditos — Restaurant in Madrid

A few days ago, after I got in line to order, the bartender told me off because apparently I didn't follow the markings on the floor. He was right, although the signs were in a pretty bad shape which makes knowing what to do and the exact way to do it a little tricky, but we ALL should have formed the line according to such markings and people there were doing it wrong already, long before I arrived. Plus, he was pretty rude about it. I understand he probably must deal with this kind of situation many times a day since nobody walks in a bar looking down to find some markings and is probably a little sick and tired of telling people the same things all day long but manners and humility are never unwelcomed. And please, fix those signs if you want to tell off customers properly and with good...

Totally underrated! This is a nice place to go for some local sandwiches and/or coffee. I was kind of surprised how cheap the sandwiches until they arrived. Okay so yes; they’re small. But at only €1-2 euro each for almost 100 different options, you really can’t complain. I recommend getting the “board” selection so you can have four small finger sandwiches. You can easily mix and match of course. No English menu unless you go online. Thankfully the shopkeeper spoke great English and called my name when my order was ready....

Mi he ido a muchísimos 100 montaditos en diferentes ciudades y he salido siempre contenta. De este 100 montaditos no puedo decir lo mismo, la peor experiencia de mi vida. Al entrar al local y preguntar si podiamos comer aún, los trabajadores sin saludarnos ni contestarnos, estaban sin atender cantando cumpleaños feliz a uno de sus compañeros. Es verdad que fuimos a comer sobre las 16 o así, pero cuando nos sentamos nos comentaron que hiciéramos el pedido rápido porque cerraban cocina, pedimos corriendo todo. Tardaron un rato en tener listo el pedido pero bueno como era más tarde, esperamos. Recogimos el pedido y al comprobar los bocadillos nos dimos cuenta que 1 no se correspondía, le llevamos ese bocadillo comentando que no era el que pedimos, nos dijeron ah se habrá equivocado el compañero que está en cocina, nos lo cambiaron. Seguimos comiendo y cual fue la sorpresa que otro de los bocadillos tampoco se correspondía con lo que habíamos pedido, volvimos a comentárselo y sin pedir disculpas ni nada, nos dijeron ah, bueno pues ahora os daremos otro en 3 minutos venid a recogerlo a la barra. A todo esto, seguia viniendo gente y seguían pidiendo comida, y que sorpresa, la cocina no había cerrado, no entendí porque nos comentaron eso. El local está lleno moscas y hasta había dentro una paloma, muy incómodo para comer la verdad.
