The food is so tasty, but the service is TERRIBLE! We were told to sit at the bar, not a problem. We were rushed to order, okay, still, no problem. But while we were eating, a woman starts yelling at us to eat faster! She said that we need to eat quicker because itâs a small restaurant and we canât stay there. She said theyâre busy and need the space. We spent no more than 30-35 minutes maximum.
Weâre paying customers, please donât shout at us. Itâs not our fault the local is small. Itâs lunchtime, theyâre busy, but we ordered a starter, and two rations of gyoza. 30 minutes is not too long to eat 20 gyoza! She didnât rush anyone else, not the people next to us also seated at the bar, nor the groups at the tables. If youâre stressed or having a bad day, the last thing you want to do is shout at the people giving you their money!
Itâs such a shame because theyâre handmade and very good, but not worth being yelled it. It was embarrassing, uncomfortable and...
Read moreNothing to complain about the dumplings. They are made right there in front of you and they were delicious. The service however, is a disaster. Or more like non-existent. Youâre supposed to order by writing it on a paper, but they donât talk to you when you come in, let alone explain where these environmentally unfriendly pieces of paper are. The three ladies also seem to be constantly fighting or disagreeing with each other and the atmosphere is not so nice. They bring the food to your table without a word. Also, I wouldnât recommend the edamame, theyâre way too soft. EDIT: Theyâre fighting again as I am editing this, 7 months later. Gyoza is still delicious, service is still non-existent to the point that itâs gotten hilarious. I suppose it makes this place authentic đ And instead of the edamame, I do really recommend...
Read moreBeware of the small Chinese woman, she gets confused and super RUDE easily. I ordered gyozas for take out, paid and waited patiently like 25 mins or so then finally asked for my order, and she wouldnât want to give my order because sheâs asking for my payment. I told her I already paid and actually been waiting for her to call my name and hand me my order instead she insisted that she already gave me my order, sheâs gotten crazy. The worst thing she handed me my order in a very bad manner and told me to get out. More than embarrassed I felt bad she treated me like Iâm some kind of a beggar asking something from her or as if I stole something from her, it might sound exaggerated but yeah she reacted in such ways. Was so uncomfortable, not worth it despite the price and how good the gyozas. Super RUDE!! Scared to go back....
