After coming here a few times I can confidently say that for the price, you get a pretty good deal.

Now, food isn't really out of this world. If you are on a budget and want to get some decent food, then I'd say coming here seems like a smart choice as the variety of their dishes is quite good, although, quality isn't the best.

Service can be a little off depending on your luck. 2 out of 3 times the waiter was grumpy and extremely busy, not saying he was rude but you could see he had a lot on his plate and well, his facial expressions weren't the most welcoming. We just laughed it off to be honest as we primarily staterd off with a beer that came nicely accompanied by tasty paella.

The place was busy everytime we visit but they managed to serve the plates pretty quickly which was good.

Can't finish this review without saying how good the waiter/barman was to us last time we stopped by. Tall bald guy did a great job and was genuinely enjoying his job, so cheers...

We have visited twice during our stay in Madrid. The folks here do not speak English but the Tapas is excellent and isn't that just what a foodie wants. Just ask for the English menu and point at whatever interests you. We tried Elvers (baby eels) with garlic aioli on toast as well as Caramelised onions with goats cheese topped with caramelised Muscovy sugar. Both were excellent. We enjoyed having the local rather than the tourist experience here.. my wife and I would gladly return. The shop is a little bit squeezy so wheelchair access may be difficult unless you can get access to a front...

I hate to write reviews like this, but the food was honestly not good. We ordered quite a few dishes, two of them were okay tasting and the rest was more or less inedible. Croquetón de boletus was dish huge lump of something that was even cold-ish on the inside, chipirones con kataifi didn't look appetizing at all. It tasted better than it looked, but still not very good. The meat looked chewy and the guacamole served with chicken burrito was the worst guac I've ever had. Three starts because the place actually has a nice atmosphere and the service is decent.

We had a set of 2 dishes and 1 desert for each person, you can choose 3 dishes included water for 10€ each, very good meal. Free bread basket. If you are looking for traditional dishes, I think this is the place you should go. I took out 1 star because the fish ball with fries a bit weird for me. I didn’t take photos of the 1st dish because I was so hungry and after got the food (it was paella the rice was perfect and tasty) the food gone just in 5mins. PS. We went there for brunch. Very very good price.
