Rude waiter that thought we was tourists and was very rushing. My wife tried sitting on a empty table (day time the terrace was empty) And he went instantly asking what are we ordering I didn't even seat yet. I said (in Spanish) one cafe con leche and...He interrupted me and said with an annoyed tone for that stuff only inside at the bar standing that we don't have time for that. I looked at him and said that anyways we was just stopping for a quick coffee today (we was planning to have dinner tonight in there but he didn't give me a chance to say it) and he started saying that his boss doesn't allow it and I said it's a bit odd that his boss decides what customers can and cannot order to which he said it was the law in Spain (laughable claim we actually live in Spain from years and no such a law exist he even quoted one law which is actually a law to protect the privacy during card payments, sorry friend I actually work with Spanish laws) To which I said ok thank you we will go and he said (while we was leaving) that we should try that somewhere else and see what happens. (Nothing happens just waiters will be polite and nice and we will return again either for drinks or dinner another time but not in this one) Poor behaviour, bad attitude, rude manners and lying in a pathetic attempt to make us try to spend more only because we had some shopping bags from some store and he heard us speaking in English. (Funnily enough the whole exchange went in Spanish as I happen to be C1 in Spanish, I am writing this in English as this place is a classic "tourist trap" and as a local I want tourists to avoid it as this is not representing the beauty and the courtesy of Spain and it's...

We ate a midday meal here and it was really good; paella de marisco and a breaded meat and cheese dish (forgot the name). That second dish was a server recommendation and I should have asked the price because it was three times as expensive as the paella and I wouldn’t have done it - but again, tasty. Five stars so far.
We liked it so much that we returned for dinner. However, this time we weren’t as hungry and that seemed to bother both our servers. I said I didn’t need a drink and one brought me a bottle of water anyway. I said I only wanted tostas (still €12) and the other tried to convince me that that wasn’t enough food. Neither brought us the typical bread basket or olives that other patrons were being served. I did get the tostas with salmon and it was actually quite delicious. However, my wife got the steak a la plancha and it was tough and chewy even though we had it cooked two different temps over the course of the meal to try to make it more palatable. The potato salad was not good either. And the servers seemed to be avoiding us since we didn’t have a big order and were not drinking alcohol - we had to go out of our way to flag them down.
After the midday meal we would have recommended this place to anyone. After the evening meal, even though the tostas were really good, we wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreService started very well with great appetizers. Not very friendly to tourists, they expect you to know how things work etcetera. One of my sons was not hungry and my mother ordered a special they were running that included a soup, main course, desert and coffee. My other soon and myself ordered food and shared a little with my other son. When my mothers main course had arrived she was stuffed and needed help finishing so myself and my son that didn't order a meal helped finish the plate. We all wanted to try the delicious food they served us. The waiter come up to us mid bitefull and lectured us about not sharing food that he is cool with it because he is nice but his bosses don't allow it, that it is fine this first time but next time to not do it. We were sort of shock and just said we apologized we didn't know they...
