Went to the square on my first day in Madrid and stumbled upon this little tapas restaurant with outdoor seating. There were already customers with their food and drinks and the steak with potatoes and pepper pedron caught my eyes so I had to indulge myself with that too. I ordered my favorite calamari, so thickly cut and freshly served with a drizzle of lemon juice. The chorizo sausages were so thoroughly cooked with the juice in the plate perfect as a dipping sauce for the potato Bravas. Excellent way to kick start my trip in the capital. Will go back again for some paella some time

It was a little bit more expensive than the average restaurants. The food was OK, it was good but not worth it for the price. It was not a price / quality thing. This is a reason why I take one star in my review. Please, don't sit on the terraza, people will approach to you trying to sell you something or asking you directly for coins or money. I know it's normal, and it's very sad that this happens, but after the 3rd time that we were asked for money, it just felt awkward and annoying. This is the reason why I take another star from this review.

Chiquita Restaurante in Madrid offers a delightful dining experience, particularly renowned for its mouthwatering seafood paella. The service is top-notch, ensuring a pleasant and satisfying meal, while the prices remain reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality of food and service provided. With such a winning combination of delicious dishes, great service, and affordable prices, it's no wonder you plan to return. Chiquita Restaurante is definitely a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic and memorable dining experience in Madrid.

Found this restaurant walking around our Airbnb area and it was surprisingly good, the food looked and tasted amazing, prices was just about right, the Night Shift employees were extremely helpful with the menu and very pleasant, Therefore we decided to make that restaurant our local eating spot (breakfast, lunch and dinner) however the morning shift employee (young guy, dark hair, with earrings) was the absolute opposite, Treated us with such disregard and no effort to make us feel welcome, acted miserably and despite the extreme cold weather across the whole city, he was determined to make the customers feel even more cold, by turning the AC lower and opening the window only because HE was feeling hot. Not to mention the fact he just told my friend “move your stuff” in a very rude way because he needed a chair that was at our table with our bags and he needed for another table. That completely changed our experience and made us question if we wanted...
