We arrived, no one came to greet us. Then we waited for 15mins before finally we decided to ask if we could be seated. We sat down at a table of 2 the waitress disappeared again for another 15mins, waitresses walking by us without even asking us if we wanted to order a drink. We had to ask "can we order please", she disappeared again for 5 mins then came back and took our order. My avo toast arrived before the drinks and my bf food, she put it infront of my bf without asking who it was for. We waited 20mins more till they brought the coffee and the food for my bf. Price to quantity ratio is ridiculous, one slice of bread with some avo on it and a few cherry tomatoes for nearly 8euros, and a small smoothie bowl around 9euros ... you're basically paying for the "cool" decor and to take influencer Instagram photos. I noticed 3 waitresses attending a table of 2, one for the drinks, one for the food and the other well I don't know, bringing out what remained from the order. It doesn't take 3 waitresses to attend if you have had proper training and are proactive and organised. The drinks ALWAYS come before the food, this is basic training. They are only 4 tables of 2 and 2 tables of 4 in the place yet the service is so slow. Terrible service all in all from start to finish. After we finished eating the waitresses kept walking by without clearing the table till eventually they can over and took the plates away. Also, windy 9 degrees outside and they wedged the front door open. Will not be returning, I suggest the waitresses get training.

The service could’ve been better, some waiter and the manager were really nice and welcoming but the other two at the bar didn’t even want to seat us. The food is ok but not great, we ate better brunch in other places. I think it’s a good place for desserts but even then they’re too sweet and unhealthy. We ordered 2 Benedict eggs, avocado toast, a coco milkshake (original) and I had their smoothie bowl de acai, and a cocada clasica. We got a piece of egg shell in our Benedict, and the bechamel sauce was very liquid and not how it’s supposed to be, but well, I guess it’s a place for sweet and vegan stuff. Still disappointing. The açai bowl was ok but was very cold and kind of tasteless, overall I didn’t like it but it worked for a pretty photo on instagram. The cocada was so fatty and sweet I couldn’t finish it.. thankfully the cookies were pretty tasty although they had too much sugar. The avocado toast was good. Overall you don’t really get a full and healthy (as well as delicious) breakfast, it’s overpriced and service could’ve been better. It was just ok but nothing special or very healthy like advertised.. good desserts though. The manager was nice and gave us a discount and a cookie for free for not enjoying the food, so they’re wonderful for that!!

Casual little cafe in Chueca, Madrid with tropical vibes for a relaxed weekend breakfast. Here you’ll feel like you are on the beach. What you’ll love: 🥥In addition to menu, they offer a Brunch for only 17€ (includes coffee, bowl, main dish and dessert) 🥥Eight different bowls to choose from - I recommend the classic açaí and the porridge bowl 🥥Super relaxed atmosphere, no need to rush and leave despite the line outside 🥥Almost all dishes (except eggs) are vegan and they offer lots of gluten free deserts 🥥You get lots of toppings included and only pay extra for peanut butter and vegan Nutella 🥥what’s special about Coco House that almost all dishes include coconut. A few things to take into consideration: 🥥The place is pretty small with 8 tables (2 tables facing the wall). 🥥Biggest table can sit 5 people so it’s not suitable for large group 🥥No Reservation - Plan in some waiting time on weekends 🥥They have one mixed bathroom (love the quality paper towels used). 🥥Bowls are not huge so you will have room for a delicious dessert 🍮 Suggestion: I would love a chocolate smoothie bowl as alternative. Goes well with coconut. Overall it was a wonderful nice experience and I will for sure come back again. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

I feel quite bad by writing the review because I really like the concept and the food was good BUT the service was really disappointing 😒

First of all , from the moment we set at the table to the moment we were taken the order took around 20 mins . It’s a fast -paced place and there were A FEW , more then one tables to which water came multiple times but we were there looking at the staff and were ignored until we asked the lady to take our order 2)( we ordered brunch set ) -coffee and açai bowls were brought quite quickly but after it it took again 15-20 mins for a “ main dish “ , bagel to be brought … and only to me but not my partner …. I finished my dish , he was still waiting .. We were super frustrated because saw that other people , who came way after us , already had their dishes on the table and were finishing them and there was NO SIGN THAT his food is arriving … We asked /complained to the waiter and said that we need to go , WE were really late to hour appointment ( more than 1 HR in a place and still no main dish ) , he offered us “ free”smoothies which I thought i .. well ok , but my partner wasn’t happy with it and just wanted to pay and leave and never be back In the end , we rushed to Pay and still had to wait for the smoothies which was extremely frustrating to do and we didn’t have time so we left …

😔😔 to sum up - more than 45 mins in a place , one main plate wasn’t delivered + multiple reminders and a FEELING OF TOTALLY BEING IGNORED ..

I really liked the taste of food , the music but such service really disappointed us and was frustrating , a huge minus to a place and will...
