Waitress Sheyla’s Poor Attitude and Service
My experience at Foster Hollywood Opera was disappointing, mainly due to the poor service from our waitress, Sheyla. From the moment we arrived, things were off. We waited around 10 minutes before Sheyla finally appeared, and when she did, she looked like she had no energy or interest in being there. There was no greeting, no smile—fine, I could overlook that.
After handing us the menus, we waited another five minutes just for her to clean the table, even though the restaurant was far from busy, with only three occupied tables, all of which had already been served. Once we received our food, Sheyla didn’t check on us for over 30 minutes, not even to see if we needed refills. Eventually, I had to go inside to ask her directly for a refill. Her response? “Wait, I have too many customers.” This was shocking considering there were still only three tables, and two were already attended.
When she finally brought the drinks after another 10-minute wait, I decided I’d had enough. I asked for the bill, and she had the nerve to say, “You should have told me.” As if we hadn’t been waiting long enough already! Throughout the whole experience, there was no...
Read moreVisited Fosters Madrid/Opera after visiting Fosters in Seville (having a wonderful visit there) and, sadly was really disappointed with this one!
Firstly, the restaurant was really hot, people were fanning themselves. A couple of minutes in, we requested a change of table as ours was underneath a heater, they accommodated; but was still warm.
It took forever to get served and to get our bill. Food was pretty much average. The tacos I had previously were oily, and it was unflavoursome.
Terms of atmos, no music on either so it was hot and just dull and average sadly.
Sad to be honest, as our visit in Seville was great. Here in Valencia currently and it’s put us off a bit.
Maybe just unlucky but worth a watch. Felt we should have left upon entering. Maybe next...
Read moreVery bad restaurant the staff don't even look like they want to work there and were rude to my gf and I. The food tasted like it was reheated and serve to you. My food was very cold and my gf fries were served cold to her and on top of that since I'm black they gave us a table in the corner away from everyone else and on top of that it took my gf 15 minutes to get a refill on her drink. To be honest if you're black don't even come to Madrid you will be treated very bad and if you're American and only speak English no one will be able to help you even though Madrid is the...
