My four-day Spanish culinary adventure led me to a highly-rated restaurant that exceeded even its glowing reviews. Visiting during a quiet lunch hour, I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt arrival of my meal. Not only was the food served swiftly, but it also delivered an extraordinary taste experience, justifying its high recommendation and deserving even more acclaim.
The restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere immediately captivated me. The menu offered a tantalizing variety of traditional Spanish delicacies and innovative creations. After careful consideration, I chose a selection that showcased the chef's artistry.
The first course arrived beautifully plated, with captivating aromas. Each bite was a symphony of flavors and textures, showcasing fresh ingredients and skillful execution. The paella was a standout, with perfectly cooked rice and a delightful combination of saffron, seafood, and vegetables. The grilled octopus was tender and paired well with a citrus-infused sauce and seasoned potatoes.
The attentive staff added to the exceptional experience, offering insightful descriptions and recommendations. To conclude, the desserts were heavenly, from the rich chocolate mousse to the perfectly caramelized crema catalana.
This restaurant is a true gem, embodying quality, innovation, and genuine hospitality. Whether you're a Spanish cuisine enthusiast or simply seeking an exceptional dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Prepare to be enchanted by the flavors and ambiance, creating...
Read moreI went to this restaurant because of the great reviews. I was excited to try the food. Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed. I ordered two carnitas tacos, one al pastor taco, one chicken tamal, and a margarita. The only good thing was the margarita. The chicken tamale was super small. They warmed it up in the microwave, so the edges were hard and inedible. The carnitas were flavorless, and the al pastor taco was dry and served at a lukewarm temperature.
I was the only customer in the restaurant which should have been a sign of things to come.
To make things worse, I asked for salsa. I squirted it all over my al pastor taco and took a big bite. I immediately spit it out onto the plate because the salsa was spoiled. The waiter apologized for serving me spoiled salsa.
I asked him to throw away the al pastor taco and bring me another. He brought me another dry, lukewarm al pastor taco.
The thing that upset me most is that when I received the bill, the waiter had charged me for the taco that was thrown away.
Can you believe that?
I told him to remove that from the bill, which he did. I paid the bill and left.
This restaurant nearly poisoned me, then tried to double charge me for the taco.
The nerve!
They should have given me the whole meal free (gratis) for the inconvenience, but they didn’t.
Anyway, don’t go to this restaurant. I am sure they are nice people, but running a restaurant should be left to the professionals and those that are truly trying to be the best....
Read moreGood server but they are not the king of tacos.
I got a gringa pastor and a taco of carnitas and was quite disappointed because was definitely not the time of Mexican food I’ve had before, I can’t tell the owner or cookers are not related at all with the way the food should taste like because is not even close to how it’s supposed to be.
The server I had, a kind gentleman was the only one showing some type of interest to my experience here, and the one why I put 3 starts instead of none because the other waitress a and rest of the staff where too concerned about their own conversation while me and other 2 tables where waving or hands trying to get their attention.
The restaurant is tiny which means is really easy to make you feel warm and give you a great service, but was not like that.
The food was too dry, tacos with no radish the meat was definitely just warm up in the microwave not prepared after I ordered.
The sauces, I had to ask for the typical green and red sauce which makes this even more crazy since this is a fundamental part of this part of their cuisine.
I don’t think I’d come back, is definitely cheap but I feel for a little bit more money you can find better places if you want Mexican food this is just...
