Tierra Burrito Bar — Restaurant in Madrid

Great place for a quick mexican bite or to order from, the system that they got going is very efficient, i stood in a line of 10 people for less than 10 min, these ladies are really fast. Free refills for cokes, plenty of space to sit inside, it can seat more than 50, limited space outside, 4 tables. Big portions and good taste, the burrito is very customizable with many add-ons. The food and price for it is amazing but, and this is a big BUT; one of our friends bag was stolen when he ate here and apparently the same happened to 3 other persons on the same day. When the manager was confronted, he was very rude and didn’t care at all. Ofc it is not his responsibility if a guest does not pay attention to his/her stuff but the manager could still provide his help, with video tapes and calling the police. It has to be his interest that guests fell safe. We will tell everyone of our fellow students to not come here anymore and order the food from another...

I'm a regular at the La Tierra's all over Madrid, however I'm writing this after eating at the one on Calle Serrano.

The food was fine as always, but the portions were much smaller, the stuff were untrained and borderline rude since they were still in training and not taught how to talk to customers. I understand you have to train staff, but I don't think someone without much experience should be on the counter, especially since the quantities were way off the usual mark.
