Great experience, most of the staff were friendly except one who seemed to be having a bad evening as she mixed up the bottle of wine we ordered then was pretty upset for the rest of the night. They did however change the bottle for us immediately. However, the food was great, slightly pricey but decent for the city center. We were 2 people and ended up paying about 80€ with a bottle of wine. The ambience is great, it can get very crowded but we reserved beforehand. Swiftly and easily one of my favorite spots in Madrid for legitimately good food, in a casual but nice environment. The salmorejo and fried eggplant are both top notch, best I've had in Madrid. We've also had all varieties of the croquetas, the patatas alinadas, ... the only thing I didn't like was some Asian fusion shrimp roll thing.
