MEAT — Restaurant in Madrid

I've gone twice so far. Once for lunch, once for dinner. Both times my wife and I were greeted and waited by Álvaro, who gave us a nice chat and great recommendations from the menu. Thanks to his recommendation we tried the Chili and we were just blown away. You have two serving sizes, cup and bowl, and both arrive with a helping of nachos to dip in the chili. We ordered burgers both times and went ahead and dipped most of the fries in there too. Haven't found a good chili like this anywhere else in Madrid!

The burgers, along with the environment and music are so very American. You'll be listening on to the likes of The Strokes, Three Doors Down, Franz Ferdinand and The White Stripes while chowing down on great quality burgers. There are big and smaller tables depending on how many people you're going with, and multiple board games to pass the time. We saw a lot of tables playing Jenga! Additionally, they have a retro arcade system that you can use to access games from the likes of NES, SEGA Genesis, Atari and a lot more. We played some Street Fighter 2 and had a blast.

As far as drinks go, would have loved some more beer options! I've only noticed two tastes, IPA and blonde ale. Simple variety, but effective.

I'll definitely be coming back for more of that chili, and looking forward to being greeted...

Got our table and some drinks. No smoking on the terrace so we asked the waiter if we can step away to have a cigarette and he said our table and drinks are safe. When we returned a moment later a different group had taken our table. Sitting on our jacket. The table was clear and our drinks gone. We collected our things and left as we did not want to stay at a place with bad service and the waiter threw away our full drinks after saying not to worry. He chased us down the street screaming that we were stealing and running away from paying our bill. The street was full of people staring at us. We explained that he threw away our full drinks and he would only scream we were stealing. Horrible...
