Looks nice and some friendly staff. I usually like it in here but this is definitely the last time I'll go. Asked for an iced coffee in English and Spanish. A waiter took the order but the waitress that brought it gave me a steaming glass of coffee. Yes, a glass, so impossible to pick up. When I said, sorry, this was supposed to be an ice coffee, she just shouted 'no' and walked away. I called her back and asked for a glass with ice that I could pour the coffee into, so she gave me a tiny glass with 3 ice cubes in it. I asked her again for a glass the same size as the coffee and explained (again) that I was going to pour the coffee into it. She went and got it, with a face like a smacked arse. On a day when it's 41 degrees Celsius outside, asking for an iced coffee shouldn't get you shade from the waitress. She stood behind the counter looking at my friend and I, quite obviously complaining about having to get what we'd ordered. I also had a waffle (they got my order wrong again, but I couldn't be bothered to ask another 3 times for what I'd actually ordered) that was so covered in chocolate sauce that I couldn't see the waffle. I had to turn it upside down and try to drain some of the sauce off it. I tried to eat it then gave up. The miserable waitress took the nearly whole uneaten thing away with no questions as to what was wrong with it.
This is usually a nice place to get a coffee but my rating is going down and I'm not going back there. Go to...
Read moreStumbled across this place just round the corner from the Plaza Mayor while we were on our hols with the family. It was absolutely rammed when we got there – queue out the door, to be fair – but don't let that put you off, it moved dead quick. Inside it’s pretty small, but really cosy and has a proper nice vibe. We got served by this chap named Marco, who was just lovely. Genuinely such a sweet, friendly bloke, couldn't do enough for us. He gave us a few recommendations for the savoury crepes, so we went for the goat's cheese, one with figs (which sounded different but was amazing!), and the chicken and pesto. Honestly, all three were absolutely spot on. The portions are massive, too! The drinks were decent value as well. I just had a coffee, but the kids got a 'Sunrise' smoothie and a 'Green Glow' juice. They said they were brilliant, and everything was really well-priced for being so central. We were proper stuffed, but we just about managed to share an Oreo waffle for pud. Unreal. Honestly, can't fault the place. Top grub, brilliant staff. Dead chuffed...
Read moreI have visited this location two times and below is my conclusion:
Desert taste = above average 👍 Customer service = beyond bad 👎
To me if you have a bad customer service it’s a BIG NO and the reason is because it gives out a negative vibe especially when you are a tourist coming abroad to visit this country.
We ordered regular waffle with Nutella, to our surprise they brought out the waffle with little bite of Nutella. We asked for an additional portion of Nutella on the side and they let us wait for 10 minutes without any response, at this point we figured out by our own that they will not serve us our request (keep in mind we would not mind if they want to charge us extra money for our request). The staff lack of communication and attendance were very clear and this is why you should not visit this place especially if you are a tourist.
Also the management of this place should be held accountable for hiring such staff. They should have a minimum requirement on whom to hire as this place is located in crowded location that many...
