Mistura (Sol) is one of our favourite spots for ice-cream in Madrid. The sweet, buttery scent—like butterscotch—draws you in from the street. Their ice-cream is delicious, with generous portions and your choice of mix-in folded on a cold stone. Best of all, it’s priced like any typical ice-cream shop, despite the quality and presentation.
This time we just had cappuccinos ('sin lactosa y muy caliente'), which were more bitter and less hot than usual, possibly due to the cacao powder they sprinkle on top without asking. We always forget to request otherwise—it’d be great if they asked.
