The venue is cozy, well located, and has good selection of breads, pastries etc. The lady at the counter seemed friendly. I just went here to check it out and to simply try some of the items, since someone mentioned it's very good. Moreover it's very close to my home but I had never tried this place. I was a bit bothered because I noticed lots of what appeared to be fruit flies in the show case feeding on the sugary pastries...) Looked like they live there)). I've not seen it like that in any place in Madrid yet, so was a bit surprised. The pastries and quiche I bought were OK. But there are better places that cost less. Anyway, it's still a cozy and nice place , very central yet not too noisy. So a perfect place to meetup for a chat or to get some quick work done on computer. I give 3 stars because of the flies and general taste to price (in my opinion)

Definitely a new wave bakery! We were just walking in the Chueca neighborhood and suddenly faced with a beautifully established bakery that catched our attention to enter and experience something ! So we did it... We tried some traditional cakes and pastries specially the ones for New Year time. I enjoyed the coffee as the barista was super professional! No kidding! The coffee I got here was way better from a lot of cafe focused places I have in mind! The veneu is designed to serve different sort of people and groups from the comfortable couches beside the glass walls to social tables! The transparency of the backstage where the magic happens and tasty breads and sweets are baked gives a sort of trust and engagement feeling! In conclusion, perfectly innovated and nicely served!

We were tempted to go in as it's been impossible to find a bakery, let alone a good one, anywhere in the centre of Madrid. Place looks great and to be fair the bread we got was good. However viennoiseries were a big let down. At 3.5 euros for a croissant, you already feel like you're being ripped off, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt in case it was an extraordinary croissant. Big let down. It's slightly above average but nothing that your cheapest neighbourhood bakery in France is able to produce. I feel like they can get away with charging those extortionate prices because simply the level of bakeries in Madrid is so low that they stand out. But they wouldn't survive a second in a more competitive environment with that quality. Will probably go back for bread but pass on...
