QUERCUS — Restaurant in Madrid

I came today for lunch with one of my colleague. I am rather demanding in terms of food and restaurant, not to say boring. This place took words of my mouth. I cannot really describe it. However, I will try to.

The food is exquisite. It is made with love, you can feel it. It is a fine and generous food at the same time. It feeds the belly with its generosity, the head with the explosion of flavors in the mouth, the heart with the warmth it puts in. You arrive stressed, or tired, you put the food in your mouth and you are on a cloud. It feeds your emotions too. Be ready to fell in love. For an hypersensitive person like me, it's paradise !

I would like to note the kindness of the waitress. She did an excellent job with a smile and kindness. I felt warmly welcomed, without it being too much or intrusive.

The restaurant itself has a balanced and pleasant decoration, where you enjoy sharing this amazin gmoment.

Fuimos el sábado por la tarde 6 personas a las 20:00 para tomar una cerveza, nos sentamos dentro, por lo que los camareros nos veían, y estuvimos 10 minutos sin ser atendidos por absolutamente nadie, ni un “buenas tardes”. Cabría pensar que estaban hasta arriba o cualquier cosa, por eso tuvimos la paciencia de esperar, pero fueron 10 minutos que fuimos LITERALMENTE INVISIBLES, hubo un momento que uno de los chicos incluso estaba tras la barra sin estar atendiendo a nadie y no levanto la cabeza de no sé dónde (móvil?, no lo sé no vi bien). Yo también trabajo cara al público, sé que cada situación requiere un servicio diferente, se que un sábado por la tarde no puedo pretender ser atendida corriendo, y creedme que no hay nadie más paciente que yo con las personas que trabajan de cara al público y más con la hostelería, pero lo que nos hicieron ayer…. Al menos un “buenas tardes por favor disculpen la demora, denme 5 minutos que termino de atender esas mesas” y hubiésemos esperado, pero repito, NI NOS MIRABAN A LA CARA CUANDO PASABAN POR DELANTE NUESTRA.
