Waited very few minutes for a table, and a few more minutes to be served. Once the food and drinks started coming though, it was worth the suspense. Smoky white bean soup, goat cheese and raspberry salad, Ox meat hamburger, beef bourguignon and veal with blue cheese sauce. Accompanied by a pitcher of sangria and followed with the most amazing chocolate cake I've ever tasted. The servers were friendly and they made sure to send over the gentleman with the best English, which helped out with our poor Spanish skills. Do yourself a favour and come eat in this place. In my 1 week stay it was the only restaurant I felt the need to come back to. If you are looking for a place with great food and great atmosphere, this is the one. And when I say great atmosphere I don't mean your fancy restaurant with fancy arrengements and whatever, I mean a true traditional experience, honestly it's the closest thing to having a spanish "family lunch", the place is just extremly cozy, and gives you a warmth feel, and on top of that the food is just chef's kiss. I read about this place on Instagram (thank you @jamesblickspain) and decided to try it for lunch on our recent trip to Madrid since it was within walking distance of our hotel. We were a party of two on a Friday afternoon. We arrived about 1:45 and the place was not quite full so we did not have to wait for a table. Everything about the experience was a pleasure.
