Il Limoncello — Restaurant in Madrid

For me and my girlfriend, the best Italian restaurant ever ! 👍🍝🍕🍟🍷😋 We're from Canada and we've tried several restaurants everywhere in our town, our province, our country, everywhere.... But it's in Spain, especially in Madrid we found the : II Limoncello. The best Italian restaurant ! 👌🍝🍕 The meals are excellents, really tasty, you have enough food in your plates and at really good prices ! 😌 All employees and the owner are really nice, friendly and smiley, the service is really quick, the restaurant is super clean and the washrooms too ! I ordered a Tagliatelle Carbonara, my favourite pasta dish, and a full fat coke. The only good thing about the lunch was the coke. I thought the carbonara tasted odd to begin with, then it dawned on me what the odd taste was. They had fried/cooked the panceta (though now I'm not sure it was panceta) or the sauce in a something that already had burnt food or similar in it. So that whole carbonara sauce had this burnt flavour throughout. The pasta itself was cooked well. What I'd call aldente. But sadly the sauce let it down massively!

I really can't believe this place is averaging 4.6 🌟 out of 5. I went there based...

La comida tiene un precio justo para la calidad de esta, la mayoría de platos son decentes con alguno llegando a destacar, el problema viene con el servicio, tres personas se quedaron sin atender hasta que algunos en la misma mesa ya iban por los postres, el camarero pese a tener el restaurante vacío un sábado por la noche en Agosto nos comenzó a meter prisas pese a no ser todos los de la reserva en cuanto a pedir las bebidas, con malas maneras, visiblemente malhumorado e irritado nos atendió toda la noche, entiendo que todo el mundo tenga un mal día pero su servicio fue la guindilla sobre el pastel cuando propuso de postre una "Pastel de Manzana, fuera de carta", yo incluido con otra persona pedimos el pastel y nos llega un crep de manzana con dos bolas de vainilla por encima, el "pastel" era mediocre tirando para decepcionante y el problema viene a la hora de pagar.

Los platos principales cuestan una media de entre 9 y 12 €, postres de carta 3-5€, y el pastel de manzana fuera de carta me costo 12€, mas de lo que he pagado por la cena entera, sin avisarnos del precio y aun con la potestad de decir "en otros lugares esta mas caro" como si para traernos el pastel no hubiera salido del local e ido 2 tiendas mas abajo para comprarlo seguramente inflando el precio a saber cuanto. Te dan la mano y te cogen del brazo, recomiendo cualquier restaurante de la zona que la comida será igual de buena y mejor, con precios igual de justos y personas honestas...
