✨5 must try Restaurants in Madrid ✨ ⬇️ 📌save for your next trip to Spain ✨It is so hard to just pick a few restaurants, but these were the most memorable, whether with food or décor. 📍ENTRE SANTOS MADRID Delicious!! This is advertised as a cocktail bar, however, their food, cocktails, and everything in between was amazing! I absolutely loved their spicy margarita!! Restaurant does not take reservations 📍TABERNA LA CONCHA The food, display, and quality is AMAZING. They are known for a vermouth drink that they make right at your table (it’s like a show, so cool!!!). My favorites were the prongs ceviche with black caviar – the taste and display of that dish belong in a fine dining restaurant! Other favorites were the anchovies in pesto and pork loin in 3 cheese sauce. We had 5 alcohol drinks and 5 tapas and bill was 57 euros! There were so many other items on the menu we wanted to try that looked good. 📍TABERNA EL SUR Delish sangria and food! This is a small pace and extremely packed. Make sure to make reservations or be prepared to wait a long time! 📍GRAMA LOUNGE The food is truly so amazing and delicious. The place has the best drinks and the ambiance has a really cool and relaxed vibe 📍BOTIN Oldest restaurant in the world! Founded in 1725 (3 centuries old). Reservations are a must, at least a month in advance for your desire time. Make sure to request to eat in the cellar! We ordered their specialty: suckling pig along with Iberian ham and garlic shrimps. Food was not the best, but the whole experience was pretty cool. It’s a bucket list item to check off – eating at the oldest restaurant in the world! The atmosphere is very cute and attractive for sure. Definitely cozy as well. I didn’t receive service for a while however and the staff only speak Spanish (which makes sense). I mentioned to them that I was vegetarian and could not eat meat, and so I was confident in ordering some appetizers that were vegetarian-friendly. Unfortunately, when they came out, a few of them were meat-based and couldn’t eat it in the end. I don’t blame the staff as it could easily have been a communication error. That being said, I was going to order a lot more food and the server said that it’s a lot of food and that I should cut back on a few items, and I’m glad she did because she was right. Overall, I’d probably come back if I knew more Spanish or had a bigger appetite.

One of the best Venezuelan places I’ve tried, and probably my favorite in Madrid. Service was great and fast. The place has a beachy vibe that remind me of Margarita, an island in Venezuela. Portions are big, we were four, order an appetizer, two mains and a dessert and was more than enough. Highly recommend this place! Must-order: appetizer: entren que caben cien. Very big and delicious. As a tequeño lover, I can tell you these might be the best tequeños I’ve tried outside Venezuela. You can doubt on anything, but this is a must! main: salmón teriyaki and pabellón drink: i don’t remember the name but it was mango with aperol. For dessert we had a tres leches but it was way cooler than it should and sort of dry. I wouldn’t recommend it.

To be fair I would give at 3.5 rating, but certainly not a 4. Went for an early dinner, 5 of us. The place is cute, the servers friendly, the menu is interesting, the execution unfortunately is lacking. We ordered a tasting platter for appetizers which included most of the appetizers on the menu … most just ok, some left unfinished. We also ordered the mixed BBQ plate which had chicken and steak and a side of fries, very underwhelming. Most disappointing was the ceviche which tastes like seafood from a jar mixed with store bought salsa. The sushi rolls were ok, but fried … It was a good effort for food, but I would not recommend for dinner. I may return for the drinks and night vibe which seems like it had a lot...
