Dolce Mia — Restaurant in Marbella

Fantastic food and experience! Often when you go to a restaurant like this it is because of the unbelievable location and views of the ocean and boats. You also are walking by and decide whatever the food tastes like it is worth the location.

Well we did that and I must say ALL of the food we had was very good to excellent in every way. The sea bass is captured from the colder waters of the Galicia Region of Spain and it is the best sea bass we have ever had. Slightly better then Chilean Sea Bass and it it moves up to just below the best white fish such as Halibut. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly and the vegetables surrounding it where all delicious and flavorful. The Burrata-tomato salad dish was delicious also and the grilled shrimp dish was one of the best of those dishes that we have had on our three week eating trip through Spain. Our daughter had the pizza and also enjoyed it a lot.

I have written this restaurant down in our permanent list and when we go back to the Marbella Golden Mile area this is a must stop and sitting...

The restaurant is situated along a coastal path by the harbour with a lovely view of the mountains and the sea. When we visited there was live singing which set a nice scene. When we arrived we weren't greated by anyone and sat down at a nearby table. Two menus were placed on the table by a server without a welcome. We ordered six drinks and six deserts. The drinks took ages to come. When they did come the drinks were placed down onto the table with force and without any proper service. There is a good selection of cocktails at €10. After half an hour, we had to ask a waiter where our food was. Five minutes later, half of the deserts was served. We ordered crêpes which were all stone cold. Amazing view, however, food and service was horrific. Me and my partner ordered a starter to share and a main each. The starter and a pizza came out at the same time and the pizza was ice cold and very minimal toppings. My partner received theirs 10 minutes later which their calamari was soggy and all cooked from frozen. This wasn’t as bad as the service though, as since the second we set foot in the restaurant they seemed fed up and were rude. They also walked away mid conversation multiple times. They couldn’t seem want to get rid of customers quick enough, it was disgusting. I’m conclusion, don’t go here unless you want an average drink and...
