🛑 IF YOU ARE HUNGRY, AVOID THIS PLACE!!
We had a really disappointing experience at Balbak Marbella. From the moment we arrived, it felt super disorganised. There was no clear waiting system or area, and people were just walking in and standing around with no idea how long they’d have to wait. We were left there for quite a while without anyone checking in or giving any updates.
Once we were finally seated, it took over 40 minutes for someone to come take our order, and that was only after we asked more than ten times. We only saw two staff members in green t-shirts trying to manage both the seating and the orders, which clearly wasn’t enough. The place was busy and they honestly could have had more people working. It felt like the staff were really stretched and the customers were paying the price.
What really bothered us was when the manager completely ignored us and took the order of a table that arrived at least 15 minutes after we did. It just felt unfair and frustrating.
When we finally ordered, our drinks and shawarma took another 45 minutes to arrive. Sadly, the shawarma was way too salty and didn’t taste good at all.
We also tried the shisha and it was really bad — harsh, burnt, and definitely not worth it.
The place has potential but right now it just feels chaotic. Until they fix their service, food, and shisha, I wouldn’t go back or...
Read moreBaalbak is, without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Marbella. Every visit feels like coming home—warm, inviting, and full of flavor. I’m completely addicted to the experience. Whether I’m there for a relaxed evening with friends or just to unwind on my own, Baalbak always hits the mark. Their shisha is top-tier—smooth, flavorful, and perfectly prepared every time. But what truly keeps me coming back is their Bamyeh. I’ve tried this traditional dish in many places, but nowhere does it quite like Baalbak. Rich, tender, and bursting with authentic Middle Eastern spices, their Bamyeh is the best I’ve ever tasted—hands down.
The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the overall experience. With its elegant design, friendly staff, and chill vibes, it’s the perfect place to relax, dine, and enjoy the Marbella lifestyle. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Baalbak is a must-try. One visit and you’ll understand why so many people, including myself, keep coming...
Read moreI recently visited Baalbek in Marbella, and the experience was delightful. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of dishes that truly captured the essence of Lebanese cuisine. perfect mix grill and the sides like fries, grilled onions, and tomatoes complemented the meal beautifully. The fresh tabbouleh was a refreshing addition, bursting with flavors. The hummus topped with ground meat and pine nuts was a standout, creamy and rich with a delightful crunch.
Most of the waitstaff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. However, one lady seemed to take her role a bit too seriously, almost like a military general, giving orders to customers with an amusing sternness. Her strict demeanor added a humorous twist to the overall relaxed atmosphere.
Overall, Baalbek offers delicious food and an interesting dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Lebanese cuisine...
