La Habana Lounge — Restaurant in Marbella

Arrogant staff. Joke of a manager.

After burning the lobster paella and cooking the seafood like rubber tyres with no flavor we politely asked to have a little more rice cooked for us. We understand lobster is expensive and as such didn’t request this to be re-done despite it being overcooked.

What followed was nothing short of horrible as we had other customers paella’s paraded in our face prior to serving - acting as if we had received the same. I’d love to be able to say with confidence it was squid within the paella that was the tasteless rubber - but unfortunately I cannot. We left the majority including some lobster. After being told it would be taken off the bill (which they suggested), it took 3 bills, 3 waiters and plenty more ridiculing and arguing to settle the remainder of the food.

The funny thing is the rest of the meal was great - chicken paella, mussels starter, entrecôte beef and a bottle of wine.

Food wise, all restaurants can make a mistake or a bad dish - we understand that and were still loving the overall meal. Unfortunately the service and the way we left that restaurant ruined the entire evening which is a real shame.

There are too many nice restaurants in spain to risk being served by these arrogant...
